Diana grabbed his tie, fingers digging ruthlessly into the silk. "You need to stay the hell away from me, Mr. Basti."
"But, I don't want to." Ian completely ignored the fact that he could barely breathe from how tight she was fisting his tie.
She was choking him.
"You think I'm joking?" She hissed. "Or is it because you're so big and tall, you think I can't hurt you?"
"Ah..." His smile grew even wider. "I don't hate when you talk like this at all. Tell me more."
"You crazy—" Her face flushed a subtle shade of red as she yanked his tie harder before letting go and shoving him.
Oh, he made her lose control.
He was getting under her skin.
Ian's grin bloomed into a victorious one, and before she could spit out some remark, he grasped her hand, intertwining her fingers with his thick ones.
"We can't be late now."
He strode off, dragging her behind.
She mumbled, "I hope it's worth my time."
