Caesar knew better than to mess with him, though.
So, Ian smiled and rose to his feet. Then, without warning, he leaned in and grabbed Caesar by the collar.
Caesar arched a brow. "I assume the reason you've got me by the collar is because you're about to warn me about something. Am I right?"
"I'm doing this for my mate, Caesar, and I don't play when it comes to her." Ian's voice dropped, low and dangerous. "That means that if you ever fuck with me, I'll make you regret knowing me. And I'm sure you know exactly what kind of man I am when…"
His lips curled into a slow, threatening smile.
Caesar nodded. "I understand. But didn't you just tell me that your mate doesn't like it when you curse?"
Ian's eyes flickered. He let go of him and cleared his throat. "It was a slip of the tongue." He straightened. "Anyway, I'll take my leave now. Process the document, I'll have it signed afterward. It'd be nice if you could have it done in twenty-four hours, but take your time."
