Diana jumped over the fence, falling into the compound. She looked left, then right, before lowering her gaze to the phone in her hand.
It was almost 11: 30 p.m
No sign of Stefanos—at least it seemed like it. When she left around 9, he hadn't been home. And Stefanos never stayed out this late—eight o'clock was usually his max, and he was home.
Unless, of course, he was with women…doing what he usually did.
Drawing a deep breath, she used the back door and slipped upstairs to the second floor like always. However, before she beelined for her room, she paused and stopped in the kitchen for a brief moment.
What if Stefanos were around? She hadn't checked the front to avoid the guards.
Biting her lips, she opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. Then she turned and left, proceeding to her room.
A voice, however, stopped her.
"Where are you coming from?"
