Sometimes I wondered if it was better to go home or become a pirate, but that would be the easy way out, and even if he were trapped being squeezed like a lemon by an invisible hand, he wouldn't give up.
Dante: "Didn't I know your Devil Fruit would be good for your bones? It's like a massage, but less violent," I said as I used a little more force to free myself from his perverted invisible hands.
In a few seconds, I was free of his grasp. It would have been bad if I had no way to free myself from that; I would automatically lose, but I still have something that shouldn't affect him, the old reliable.
I saw him grab the air with his fist to feel how he grabbed my shirt, able to throw me against a building without any difficulty.
Third-person POV.
Arthur and Trini were protecting the people, at least those they could. Arthur was creating shields for the people with any material that was somewhat resistant and handing them over, while Trini shot the guards in non-lethal areas to knock them out. Now that she had her infinite bullet supply at her side, she could fire left and right.
Suddenly, Trini felt something to her left. Moving her head, she managed to dodge a blow from a man in robes. He had metal gloves on his fists, some with sharp edges, not only able to strike, but also to tear skin and flesh.
A woman approached Arthur, also in robes, holding a long dagger in each hand, aiming for swords. Arthur managed to land a blow with his spear, but she managed to block it with her daggers, throwing him far from the initial position.
Arthur: "This is getting more trouble than it should be."
Sulli and the others had already reached the palace, dodging and knocking down guards. The royal guards accompanying them were quite skilled, so it wasn't too difficult to reach the place.
They reached the doors of the king's chamber. In front of them were two royal guards who wouldn't let them pass. There was nothing to say; they were traitors to the crown if they blocked their way.
Royal Guard 1: "Please take care of the prince's body," said Sulli, who was carrying Amun's body. Isis was at his side. Sulli nodded to the two guards.
The guards began to fight each other. The two passed between them without delay. They weren't going to wait for them to finish fighting to enter and meet with the king.
When they entered the room, they saw a horrifying scene. In front of them was the king, dead on his throne, covered in sword wounds. Besides the two of them, not counting the dead, there was one other person: the chief of the royal guards.
Reed: "You saved me the time of going to find him, well, at least for one of them. I see he did what he set out to do," he said, looking at Amun's corpse.
Isis: "Why?" she asked Reed.
Reed: "For power? What else is more important in this world?"
Sulli: "How does doing this give you power?"
Isis: "The Devil Fruit," she whispered, but everyone heard it anyway.
Reed: "Exactly. The king didn't say a word, even though I threatened him with you, but I was sure that with Dante and the others, nothing would happen to his son," he said, pointing his sword at the two of them. "Now, tell me where the Wind Lodge is."
Sullivan set Amon's body aside, then pulled a razor and a surgical scalpel from his pocket.
Sulli: "You'll have to go through me," getting into a fighting stance.
Reed: "So be it."
Suddenly, noise was heard from where all the commotion was, everyone looking out the window.
Reed: "I see you're having fun over there," he said with a hint of disbelief and amusement in his voice.
Back to Trini and Arthur. They were both fighting with their opponents, while people were already escaping or fighting with the guards.
Arthur kept his opponent from getting close with the use of his spear, while Trini did the same with her shots.
A fight could be heard in the distance from their position, as the houses and objects in this place began to rise from the ground.
Trini shifted her gaze from the scene, where pieces of land, a house, and other objects were levitating.
Trini: "How could he have such mastery with that fruit if he hadn't obtained it so long ago?" She positioned her pistol to her right, firing at the blade Arthur's opponent had thrown at her without looking at it.
Guy: "He's a master in terms of combat. He was the only one who managed to learn Armament Haki. That shows his high level of learning." They couldn't continue talking as the objects in the air began to fall, also landing on the spot where they were standing.
People and guards began to flee the place. Trini and Arthur did the same; they didn't want a house to fall on them. Their opponents followed.
Among the levitating and falling rubble, two figures are seen fighting. But to get to that point, let's go back in time. To where we left off, the fight between Dante and Johnny.
Johnny was watching the spot where he threw Dante, and a few seconds later I emerged shirtless from where I was.
Dante: "I hope you don't grab my pants unless you want me to fight in my underwear."
Johnny: "I don't think so. I don't like that image in my head," he says, before throwing the house in front of Dante. Pieces of the building flew.
Dante uses his sword to slash the debris, while the rest dodge, leaving him a little dirty. He immediately throws himself at Johnny, only to be blocked by the swords that spin around his opponent.
In this way, Dante tries to attack with his sword, but Johnny manages to block with his swords. This continues, but as they advance, it is seen that Dante is gaining the advantage, managing to repel all of his attacks and getting closer.
Johnny extends a downward movement, causing the Sword Buster to be buried in the ground, following with a horizontal sword attack at Dante's neck, causing him to release the sword and distance himself with a jump.
The Sword Buster is lifted from the ground with telekinesis and is sent along with Johnny's four swords towards Dante. Dante manages to dodge the attack with his sword, then immediately grabs it in the air, then deflects the attack of the other swords.
Dante is left with the sword levitating, ready to attack, but Johnny with his Fruit makes the sword fly upwards along with Dante, causing him to drop the sword, falling, but a piece of earth is directed towards him, along with other debris. Various pieces of the house, signs, and furniture are directed toward Dante. Suddenly, Dante flies out of all the rubble using Geppo, along with another weapon, Nemesis, with which he was deflecting the objects thrown at him.
Johnny decides to levitate, along with all the objects he can lift at once. The place seems as if gravity has been nullified, Dante runs through all the rubble toward Johnny, all the thrown debris being deflected, dodged, or destroyed.
Dante manages to reach Johnny and just as he is about to strike, Johnny tries to stop the weapon with his fruit, but he didn't expect it to work, causing Dante's blow to hit him hard in the face, knocking him to the ground. In the process, all the levitating objects fall to the ground.
...
Arthur and Trini's situation wasn't that complicated; it wasn't something they couldn't handle, but this was a different story for Sulli and Isis.
Sulli was on the ground, badly injured and bleeding. Although she trained with the others, it wasn't enough to reach Reed's level.
Reed was about to slit Sulli's throat when suddenly...
Isis: "STOP!" she yelled at Reed, preventing him from killing Sulli. "I'll tell you where the fruit is." Reed moved his sword away from the doctor to approach Isis slowly.
Reed: "Where?" he asked.
Isis pulled a fruit with strange patterns from a bag she had with her. Reed smiled when he saw it. She had the fruit because the idea was for Amon to consume it if an emergency arose during her speech, but unfortunately, she couldn't. After her death, Isis took the bag containing the fruit.
Just as they were about to reach Isis, the door opened, and a royal guard appeared. He was one of the guards accompanying them. He immediately attacked Reed, but Reed was able to block, only to then counterattack. He had also arrived badly wounded, and his companion was dead, so he couldn't defend or dodge, taking the attack, slicing his neck in half.
At that moment, Sulli arrived, pushing Reed off the spot with her body and heading toward Isis.
Sulli: "Eat it!" she yelled at Isis.
Reed immediately got up, attacking Sulli, but Sulli managed to block the first cut, but not when he buried his sword in Sulli's stomach.
He was about to cut Sulli in half when a strong draft was felt. They both looked at where it was coming from. It was Isis, who had consumed the fruit.
Sulli is the first to return to reality. With a kick, he pushes Reed away, and in the process, himself, managing to remove the sword from his stomach.
Isis: "Now I'm the one who'll fight you. I won't need to be defended anymore," she said, as the space felt as if a hurricane had rolled in.
Out of nowhere, the ceiling of the room flies up, with Reed flying upwards. It's worth noting that only he was blown away; the bodies of Amon and the king, along with Sulli, didn't fly, but they were moved by the strong wind.
Reed's body flew like an old load, upwards, and didn't stop until it reached beyond the clouds, all of this caused by a tornado. Suddenly, it stopped, disappearing. Moments later, a dot was seen that slowly grew larger. It was Reed falling at full speed. To add to the flavor, Isis added more speed to the fall with a burst of wind, causing him to fall headfirst.
Their bodies tumbled through the entire palace, reaching the top floor. When he fell headfirst, the impact broke his neck, killing him instantly.
After all this, Isis walked over to Sulli.
Isis: "Are you okay?" she asked.
Sulli: "I'll live. I'm a doctor, so don't worry," he said, lying on the floor, his injuries visible.
Isis stared at the place with sorrow and regret, seeing the bodies of her family and those who had tried to protect her. Now she had nothing left, only a destroyed kingdom.
...
POV ???
I remember lying on the ground, crying, watching my father beat and abuse my sister.
I remember the feeling of helplessness, the feeling of weakness.
I swore to myself that we would never have to go through something like that again, never again.
And I would do what was necessary, no matter what it cost.
Third-person POV
Johnny got up from where he fell, the rubble still falling around him. He touched his jaw to realize it was dislocated and broken. With great pain, he reset it, then looked at Dante, who hadn't yet fallen to the ground.
He walked toward where Dante was about to fall, wrapping his fists in Haki, and the moment he fell to the ground, he threw himself at him. Dante barely touched the ground and did the same, but his fists still lacked Haki.
Dante saw shards of glass, metal, and other objects hurtling toward him. With Nemesis, he managed to destroy them all, but he didn't realize Johnny was already on top of him. Thanks to this, he managed to grab Dante's arm and hit him in the arm joint, causing him to unconsciously drop his weapon and throw him away.
The moment he fell, Johnny was on top of him again, but Dante was already prepared, and both were in position to begin throwing punches. Some dodged them, others deflected or blocked them, or directly took the full force of the attack.
Johnny had the advantage with his Armament Haki, causing Dante to take more damage than him.
Dante stopped, concentrated, and in a flash, he managed to wrap his fist in Armament Haki to deliver a direct blow to Johnny, but Johnny managed to defend himself with his arms also wrapped in Haki.
Completely focused, Dante lunges at Johnny again, this time with both fists using Haki.
The situation went from being advantageous for Johnny to neutral to Dante having the advantage. Johnny may have great learning ability, but Dante is a born warrior, so he won't be able to defeat him head-on, either in sword or hand-to-hand combat.
Johnny reaches out to grab Dante and throw him away, but Dante manages to free himself almost immediately, only to receive half a house on his head. Johnny then grabs the piece of land where Dante was standing and the destroyed house to throw it up. He also picks up the other objects next to it.
The rubble of the house rises from the piece of land where Dante was standing, leaving him alone there. With the sudden situation, he lost his concentration and lost his Armament Haki. He tries to refocus to recover it, but he can't, as he feels sharp, pointed objects heading toward him.
Dante jumps from the spot to land on another piece of rubble, only to see the piece of land destroyed along with all the objects aimed at him.
He sets his sights on Johnny, who was flying alongside two of the four swords on his back. Unlike Johnny, he didn't have the Sword Buster or Nemesis to defend himself. He also couldn't use Armament Haki again. So he was somewhat at the mercy of Johnny's swords.
Among all the debris is the aforementioned Nemesis, from which a black bird flies, lands on the weapon, and begins to clean its wings, allowing us to see the confrontation between Johnny and Dante in the distance.

In honor of Oda not killing off characters, I will, I will kill both cynical characters and those I made up, all for the sake of the plot.
