Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Way To Knowledge

Once Nova and Hanako reunited, they returned to Rinko's base. Nova had so many questions about the origin of the fragments, but before Nova could start asking her questions, Rinko said, "We haven't got time for your questions; we need to find the magic text to uncover the truth about the fragments." Hanako and Nova asked, "What is the magic text?" Rinko explained that the magic text is a divine relic that has the ability to give knowledge on old artefacts and secrets. Rinko pulled up a map of the location where the magic text was being kept. Rinko said that the magic text is under the divine realms' security. Hanako said, "So if we wanted to gain knowledge from this magic text, we would have to kill the guards and become heaven's enemy." Rinko nodded her head, but she also said, "Even if we become enemies with heaven, they would probably start coming after us sooner than later anyway." Nova asked. If knowledge from the magic text can be stolen, Rinko shook her head and said, "It can only be stolen or be destroyed from the magic text." Hanako and Nova started gathering their weapons, ready to head towards the location where the magic text is being kept. While Hanako and Nova were gathering their weapons, Rinko did some research into Kamiya's relationships and who she has connections with. Rinko found out that she had a connection to a powerful being called the Puppeteer. Rinko called Nova and Hanako over and said, 'This witch Kamiya cannot be trusted; she has a contact with a really powerful and evil primordial sin called the Puppeteer." Nova asked Rinko, "Who is this Puppeteer person?" Rinko couldn't say anything because she doesn't have any information about her. Once Rinko warned them about the puppeteer, Rinko started using her transport abilities to take them to the location. Before the transport spell was complete, Rinko said, "Whatever you do, don't kill Shiki or Kaya; they are more valuable to use alive than dead, and they might make good allies in the future." Hanako and Nova nodded their heads in agreement, and Rinko finished her transport spell to take them to the location of the magic text. On the other hand, Kamiya was able to follow where Nova and the others were going. Kamiya opened up a portal in the same location, and Shiki and Kaya walked through it, same as Kamiya.
