Kamiya and Kaya tried to track where the Abyss Lord took Nova, but they had no luck; they realised that she could have been transported to a different realm. Kamiya realised that she could sense an awakened fragment inside Shiki. Kamiya and Kaya went up to Shiki and asked, "You know that you have awakened your fragment, right?" Shiki already knew she had awakened it, but because of her past backgrounds with demons and witches, she had trust issues and said, "I know about my fragment and what power I possess, but I won't let you take control over it." Kaya didn't want to take her fragment; she just wanted to find Nova, so she asked Kamiya and Shiki to form an alliance with her to track down Nova. They agreed to help Kaya find her. Kamiya said, "If the lord of the abyss transported her to the abyss, how are we able to get there?" Kaya said, "Instead of going to the abyss, maybe we should wait for them to move from that realm and then go rescue Nova." Kamiya agreed with Nova's plan but asked Shiki if she knew anything about the Abyss Lord. Shiki said, "The Lord of the Abyss, Rinko, used to be a Sentinel Knight, and she's very powerful." Kamiya Shiki and Kaya continue to track Nova movements, waiting for the right moment to strike. Kamiya grabbed a knife and pointed it up and said in her head, "Once I have Nova on my side, the puppeteer will reward me with new magic."
