Chapter 4 - Preparing for the Naming Ceremony

John, Beck, and the four younger brothers enjoyed playing with the baby. As Daisy had already selected the venue for the naming ceremony, Kylie, Andrew, and the other family members began discussing the remaining arrangements.

Everyone took on responsibilities for the ceremony and started preparing accordingly. Once the labor tasks were assigned to the servants, the respective teams were called in and delegated specific duties.

"Dad, Mom, have you both decided what to name our little sister?" the Adam brothers asked after some time.

The couple looked at their sons and then at each other before replying, "Yes, we've decided on a name, sweetheart.""We apologize for not asking your opinions beforehand."

When the boys realized that their parents had already chosen a name, they all turned to Alan. Taking the lead, Alan stepped forward and asked, "Can we know our sister's name, Mom?"

The boys looked eagerly at their parents, waiting anxiously to hear the name. The couple smiled and replied, "We'll tell you the name—but only if you promise not to reveal it to anyone before the naming ceremony."

"Is that okay with you all?" Andrew asked.

The boys were so excited to know their sister's name that they nodded immediately, without a second thought.

Seeing their serious and earnest expressions, the couple called them closer and whispered the name to them. Hearing it brought a wave of joy to the boys—they couldn't wait to call her by that name.

Even though they were still children, they displayed a maturity beyond their years. They understood what was appropriate and what wasn't, and they fully intended to honor the promise they had made to their parents.

The older members of the family, observing the smiles and whispers among the boys and their parents, became curious. Mrs. Daisen asked, "Can we also know the name of our little baby?" Mrs. Adam joined in as well.

Despite all the eyes on them and the eager questions, the couple and their sons remained firm—they would not reveal the name before the ceremony. Even when others tried to bribe the boys with gifts, the children didn't budge an inch.

With a collective groan, the family understood that they'd have to wait until the day of the ceremony to hear the baby's name.

The following day, family members began handing out invitations exclusively to their closest acquaintances. Everyone remained busy and focused on their assigned responsibilities.

....

A few days later, Daisy visited her niece at the Adam estate, arriving with two cars full of gifts. As she entered the mansion, she saw that everyone was gathered in the living room, busy completing their designated tasks.

She walked up to Kylie and gave her a surprise hug from behind. Startled at first, Kylie quickly sensed the familiar embrace and turned to find her beautiful, dignified sister-in-law smiling back at her.

Delighted to see her, Kylie returned the hug and asked with a grin, "How come you're here now instead of arriving on the day of the ceremony?"

Daisy responded with playful affection, "How could I possibly show up late for my only niece's naming ceremony? Of course, I had to be here early—to personally dress up my baby doll."

"Oh…" Kylie nodded in understanding and offered her a glass of water. After taking a few sips, Daisy sat down beside Kylie and asked about her health and well-being.

Just then, Jenny came down the stairs after checking on her sleeping grandchild. Her face lit up with joy as she saw her beloved daughter-in-law sitting cheerfully beside her daughter, chatting with ease.
