Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Asher Who Doesn't Play by the Rules

"Oh dear, satisfied, satisfied."

After kneading Asher's face for a good while, Morgan le Fay finally let go, letting out a satisfied sigh.

As expected, teasing this little boy every day was more fun than those barbarians who only knew how to fight all day long.

Asher rubbed his somewhat reddened cheeks and glanced at the capricious woman.

He couldn't figure out this woman's thoughts at all, so he had no intention of resisting. Anyway, letting her pinch his face didn't matter. It wouldn't make him lose a layer of skin; at most, it just made him feel a little uncomfortable in his heart for being teased.

"Alright, I presume you're not very willing to chat with me either, so let's get straight to the point for today," Morgan le Fay easily saw through Asher's thoughts, her gaze fixed on him. "Your magical power has been consolidated for more than four years, and now it's almost stable. Starting today, I will impart my abilities to you."

Hearing this, Asher raised his brightened eyes. "You're finally willing to teach me your abilities?!"

Frankly speaking, these past four years had been just repetitive circulation of the magic power in his body. It was said to improve the proficiency of his magic power, but in reality, it was similar to meditation. Asher was already tired of it. If he wasn't afraid of Morgan le Fay causing a fight with Scáthach when she came looking for him, he would definitely not have stayed behind every day to wait for her.

"Four years ago, I placed a prohibition on you. Although it has a certain restrictive effect on you, it also means you received my blessing," Morgan le Fay's joking expression disappeared, and she became serious. "Next, I will impart my first ability to you. Even if you don't reach my level, it will be of great benefit to you."

As she said this, she squatted down, picked up a small stone, weighed it in her hand, and threw it towards a certain bush.

"Awoo!"

A wild wolf jumped out of the bush. This cunning wolf had been crouching in the bush from the beginning, seemingly looking for an opportunity to attack the two of them, but it was provoked by Morgan le Fay. In its rage, it lost most of its rationality and pounced directly.

Asher didn't move, still sitting on the ground, watching the woman standing beside him.

Morgan le Fay slightly parted her lips, and a word softly sounded from her mouth.

Although the voice was very soft, Asher clearly heard the meaning of that word.

Die.

Yes, just a single word.

However, the moment this word fell, the pouncing wild wolf directly collapsed on the ground, blood seeping from its body.

Asher was somewhat dumbfounded, staring at the wild wolf that had died on the spot, an puzzled expression on his face.

What was going on?

Morgan le Fay had only said one word, and as a result, that enraged wild wolf had directly died?

"The law follows the word, this is the ability I want to teach you." Seeming to see Asher's confusion, Morgan le Fay turned her head to look at him, a faint smile on her face. "How is it? Isn't it a very powerful ability?"

Asher was silent for a moment, then nodded lightly. "It's very powerful... but I don't want to learn this."

Morgan le Fay was taken aback. "Why?"

"What if I can't control it in the future and one word kills someone? Wouldn't that be too terrifying?" Asher said.

"Pfft—"

Morgan le Fay couldn't help but laugh out loud. Only when she noticed the somewhat displeased look in Asher's eyes did she raise her gaze and seriously stare at him. "You're right. If you enter a berserk state and lose your rationality, such a thing could indeed happen. But... Asher, I am the goddess of death. Do you think I have any other abilities I'm better at teaching you?"

"Big Sister Morgan, you're not just the goddess of death, you're also the goddess of war and the goddess of prophecy. If you're willing, you could even end a war without bloodshed, right?"

"Your idea is very interesting," Morgan le Fay's gaze towards Asher gained a bit more interest. "Is it for that woman Scáthach?"

"Shishou took me in, so I also want to repay Shishou. I hope she can reconcile with her sister... at least so that there won't be any more infighting between sisters," Asher said.

Morgan le Fay shook her head. "Your power is too weak. Don't even mention you, even the current Scáthach can't end the war. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been unable to deal with her sister for so long."

As if a nerve had been touched, Asher said somewhat unhappily, "That's only because Shishou values the bond between sisters. You don't have any sisters, so you can't understand her feelings."

Morgan le Fay's smile faded slightly, and she stared at Asher coldly. "I don't have any sisters?"

Noticing Morgan le Fay's cold gaze, Asher seemed to wake up from a dream.

??! He had carelessly said something very disrespectful to her.

He knew that this was a trinity goddess. No matter what, his words just now were a bit too impulsive. Did he anger her?

Would she cast some strange prohibitions on him in anger?

Asher couldn't help but feel a little worried.

However, Morgan le Fay, who had just been staring seriously at Asher, suddenly showed a joyful smile in the next second.

"That's it, that's it, Asher! What I like most about you is this kind of personality where you can't help but get angry when someone says bad things about your Shishou. You really value your Shishou, don't you."

As Morgan le Fay finished speaking, she reached out and stroked Asher's cheek, her slender fingers reaching his chin. She lifted his chin, making Asher look her in the eyes.

Asher's gaze met Morgan le Fay's. For some reason, he always felt that this woman's eyes were full of pleasure.

"Asher, sooner or later you will come to me willingly, not because of the prohibition, but to throw yourself into my embrace," Morgan le Fay withdrew her hand, the corner of her lips curving into a smile.

What she wanted to do most now was to dye this pure white flower her own color... just thinking about that feeling was wonderful.

Ah... ah... need to calm down, it's not time yet. Such a beautiful scene will definitely be seen later. For now, just be a little more patient~ And later, her sister's side will also need him.

Morgan le Fay forcibly suppressed her almost rising joyful smile. "Alright, since you don't want to learn the ability from just now, then I will impart the power of prophecy to you."

"With your current strength, if you practice hard, you should probably be able to foresee dangers that will occur to you within three seconds."

This was good!

Asher's eyes lit up.

"Want to learn it?" Morgan le Fay asked.

Asher hesitated for a moment, then nodded honestly.

"Beg me," Morgan le Fay said in a teasing tone.

"Please," Asher said.

Morgan le Fay: "..."

She almost forgot that this child was straightforward to a fault.
