Chapter 4 - Body Sculpting Technique

Lu Yin bent down to dodge, barely managing to escape several meters away in a rather embarrassed manner. The factory building at the spot where he had been standing turned into ruins.

The young man flew high in the air, casting a cold glance at Lu Yin with an arrogant expression. "Are you a native of this planet?"

Lu Yin's expression grew serious—this was a Heavenly-level expert!

"I'm asking you a question. Didn't you hear me?" The young man shouted. With a casual slash, a visible blade of energy cleaved the earth, sending dust flying in all directions.

Lu Yin sternly asked, "Are you an alien?"

The young man sneered, landing on the ground. He glanced at his wristwatch. "Power level only eight? Trash. Wait a minute, a power level of eight shouldn't be able to dodge my slash," he said, his expression turning puzzled as he looked at Lu Yin. "Do you specialize in body cultivation?"

Lu Yin was confused. "You're an alien, right?"

Lu Yin bent down to dodge, awkwardly retreating several meters. The factory building where he had been standing turned into ruins.

The young man soared into the air, casting a cold glance at Lu Yin with an arrogant expression. "Are you a native of this planet?"

Lu Yin's expression grew serious—this was a Heavenly-level expert!

"I'm asking you a question. Didn't you hear me?" The young man snapped. With a casual slash, a visible blade of energy cut through the earth, kicking up a storm of dust.

Lu Yin responded solemnly, "Are you an alien?"

The young man sneered, landing on the ground and checking his wristwatch. "Power level only eight? Trash. Wait a minute, someone with a power level of eight shouldn't be able to dodge my slash," he said, his expression turning puzzled as he looked at Lu Yin. "Do you specialize in body cultivation?"

Lu Yin was confused. "You're an alien, right?"

The young man frowned and said, "For you natives, that's one way to address us. However, we prefer to be called 'Supreme Beings.'"

"Supreme Beings?" Lu Yin frowned.

The young man looked down at him, saying, "Your planet has long been within the monitoring range of our Great Universe Empire. To us, you are nothing more than domesticated natives. Naturally, we are the Supreme Beings. Now, tell me, are you specialized in body cultivation, and have you reached the Limit Stage, even approaching the Exploration Stage?"

"I don't understand what you're talking about," Lu Yin responded.

The young man's eyes narrowed, and after thinking for a moment, he realized: how could this native planet know about realm divisions?

His eyes gleamed coldly, and he stared at Lu Yin. "Attack me. Let me see your strength."

Lu Yin clenched his fist. "Are you sure?"

The young man sneered. "I, Yasta, am not someone a native like you could injure. Even if you can hide your battle power, it's impossible for you to reach the Exploration Stage. And even if you were at the Exploration Stage, you wouldn't stand a chance against me. I'll show you the hopeless gap between us."

Lu Yin pulled out the iron rod. "Then I'll make my move."

Yasta arrogantly curled his finger.

In the next moment, Lu Yin rushed towards Yasta at high speed, swinging the iron rod with a sharp blade-like motion, slicing through the air, aiming for Yasta's neck.

Yasta easily dodged, casually placing his hands in his pockets, and teased, "The evolution of planets really does give birth to a batch of savages. The attacks are fierce and decisive, with killing moves right from the start. This is good. Only this way can we create iron-blooded warriors."

Lu Yin's iron rod blocked all of Yasta's escape routes, each strike faster than the last. The fierce energy generated from the blows was like a blade slicing into the ground, leaving deep marks.

Yasta moved effortlessly, seeing Lu Yin's strike coming. He lifted his leg and directly blocked the blade with his combat boots. His hands remained in his pockets as he coldly watched Lu Yin. "Battle power of 302, not bad. To reach the Limit Stage with just physical strength is not easy. Even for the Exploration Stage students at our academy, it's not that simple to achieve this with just their bodies. I admire you. I'll give you a chance—follow me, become my slave, and I can take you off this planet and show you a different starry sky."

Lu Yin pressed the iron rod firmly against Yasta's combat boots, his expression full of surprise. "A different starry sky?"

Yasta, filled with arrogance, responded, "Of course. I am the top student from the First Military Academy of the Doyu Empire, qualified and brave enough to apply for the planetary evolution trial as an elite. Once I complete the task successfully, I can ascend to a higher institution. Following me will be your lifelong honor. Of course, this depends on whether there is someone more suitable than you on this planet. Just pray that you're not too weak, haha." With that, he kicked the iron rod out of Lu Yin's hands.

Lu Yin watched as Yasta immersed himself in his superior arrogance. His gaze suddenly turned cold. His right palm rapidly shook, and visible ripples formed in the air as though it was being grasped in his hand.

At first, Yasta didn't take notice, but when he saw it, disbelief appeared on his face. "Wave Palm? How could you—?" In the next moment, Lu Yin slapped Yasta's chest fiercely. The shockwave pushed him back, shattering his white light armor. A mouthful of blood was expelled as he flew backward. Mid-air, Yasta struggled to lift his head, twisting his body with great difficulty, drawing a short blade to strike at Lu Yin. Lu Yin charged toward the short blade, and his right palm once again rapidly shook.

Asta gritted his teeth and roared, "You're not an indigenous, you come from the starry sky."

Lu Yin's gaze turned cold, and he slapped out.

Asta growled, thrusting his short knife, but it only cut through air. Lu Yin had disappeared, leaving only an afterimage. "Movement technique?" Asta sprayed blood. His fingers melted his ring, forming fragments of battle armor that covered his body. With a loud bang, at the same spot, Asta was struck again. This time, a cracking sound could be vaguely heard.

In the second after he was hit, the battle armor fully covered his body. Unfortunately, it was too late. His heart had been completely crushed. His body crashed down beside the spaceship in the pit, and blood streamed down the ship's exterior.

Lu Yin knelt on one knee, panting heavily. His right hand's veins had burst, and his face showed signs of pain.

The Wave Palm was beyond his current ability. If it weren't for the need to kill Asta, he wouldn't have risked destroying his arm to use it. Luckily, the ambush succeeded. This moment was one he had waited for a long time.

In that brief moment, he used the Wave Palm twice and the Body Flicker Technique. His body trembled violently, already overloaded.

Lu Yin slowly walked over to Asta's corpse and watched as the battle armor covering his body slowly disappeared, transforming back into a ring.

Lu Yin took the ring and put it into his pocket. This was a ring battle armor, a protective device that many cultivators in the starry sky often carry. Asta's ring battle armor was just the lowest grade, but it could withstand attacks from a Heavenly-level powerhouse.

Aside from the ring battle armor, Asta also had a personal terminal on his wrist to test his combat power. It contained all of his information, including his location.

Lu Yin took the personal terminal and skillfully removed the positioning device, storing it in his Void Ring. Finally, he scanned Asta's body, his gaze flickering until it stopped at the second joint of Asta's right hand. He directly cut it off, and a chip fell out from within the blood.

"As expected,It is here ," Lu Yin thought, ecstatic. He picked up the chip. The reason he ambushed Asta, and the reason he hadn't evolved by absorbing energy crystals, was to wait for this.

The "Body Sculpting Technique" is a chip formed by a super strong being's energy condensed into a solid. Anyone who integrates it into their body can stimulate their cells, cleanse their body, and break through physical limits. It allows for the direct absorption of cosmic energy for cultivation. This is recognized across the universe as the most effective cultivation method.

On the other hand, absorbing energy crystals for cultivation is considered an inferior method. It cannot directly absorb cosmic energy into the body, requiring the search for energy crystals, and is very difficult to break through physical limits.

Those who cultivate in this way are referred to as "wandering soldiers" in the universe, and many people even call them — battle slaves.

The energy that can be directly absorbed in the universe is called "Star Energy." The energy crystals within mutated beasts' bodies are also a form of condensed Star Energy, but they are too chaotic, and absorbing them directly is harmful and useless.

Lu Yin comes from the starry sky. To legalize his identity, he refrained from cultivating with the Body Sculpting Technique before arriving on Earth, presenting himself entirely as an ordinary person. Now, on this planet, he no longer needs to worry about anything. The planetary evolution trial means anything is possible.

In the universe, anyone who cultivates with the Body Sculpting Technique must be registered, or else it is illegal. However, in the planetary evolution trial, what one obtains belongs to them, according to the rules established by the Youth Evaluation Council of the Great Universe Empire. No one is allowed to violate this.

"This person is only at the exploration level, which means this Body Sculpting Technique has been used twice already. There's one more chance left. What a pity, I'll have to keep searching," Lu Yin murmured to himself, tossing Asta's body into the spaceship before turning to leave.

Suddenly, a shadow covered the sunlight, and someone attacked from behind.

Lu Yin quickly sidestepped, turning and delivering a kick that collided with the attacker with a loud bang. It was a land-level expert. Lu Yin reacted instantly and retreated.

The attacker also took a few steps back, then looked up, revealing a delicate face that caught Lu Yin's attention—it was a woman.

"Why did you attack me?" Lu Yin's tone was cold. Even though he didn't sense any killing intent from the woman, an attack is still an attack, especially a sneak attack.

The woman glanced at the spaceship and fixed her gaze on Lu Yin. "I saw you throw that alien's body into the spaceship. Who are you? Why did you kill the alien? What do you know?"

Lu Yin sneered. "Why should I tell you?"

The woman coldly said, "I will make you speak," before drawing a dagger from behind and leaping toward Lu Yin. The dagger sliced through the air, emitting flashes of cold light.

Lu Yin deftly avoided the attack. In front of him, the woman moved quickly, her dagger flashing as it tore through the air, emitting sharp, whistling sounds. Every strike was aimed at Lu Yin's vital points.

Through the cold flashes, Lu Yin waited for the right moment, then grabbed the woman's wrist with one hand and reached for her abdomen with the other. The woman furrowed her brow, stamping her feet and cracking the ground beneath her. She released the dagger and struck with her hand, meeting Lu Yin's palm. The air suddenly grew cold, and Lu Yin's gaze sharpened—his palm was freezing. "Martial technique?"

"You are no match for me. Speak," the woman hissed, as the temperature continued to drop.
