Chapter 9 - Dravorn City

After the fight Tsukasa and his companion goes in

The journey to the capital had not been an easy one. Tsukasa and his companions had traversed treacherous mountain paths, dark forests, and plains where even the wind felt like a warning. Yet, nothing could prepare them for the sheer size and intensity of Dravorn—the human capital, a city that stood as the beating heart of the kingdom.

The city's massive gates loomed in front of them, guarded by soldiers whose sharp eyes missed nothing. The walls, towering and imposing, were etched with runes that pulsed faintly with magic. Dravorn was a city of power, politics, and secrets, its streets teeming with nobles, merchants, spies, and adventurers alike.

Tsukasa, as always, remained calm, his eyes scanning the city with a mix of curiosity and caution. The Drag Blazer gleamed at his side, its presence reminding him that he was far from home—far from any place that truly understood him.

Beside him, Elara adjusted her cloak, her eyes wide as she took in the hustle and bustle of the capital. "I've heard so much about this city," she muttered, "but it's nothing like I imagined."

Lumi, ever the practical one, was already assessing their next move. "We need information," she said, her voice quiet but firm. "We'll find a tavern or a guild—somewhere we can get news about what's really happening in the kingdom."

The city's gates creaked open, and Tsukasa led the way, his companions falling in behind him. As they walked into the city, the smell of fresh bread, spices, and the occasional scent of smoke filled the air. Dravorn was alive, vibrant, and undeniably powerful. But there was something beneath the surface, something that didn't sit right.

As they entered the heart of the city, the massive Castle Dravorn loomed above them, its towers reaching for the sky, casting a shadow over the streets below. The capital's grand square was packed with people—merchants shouting their wares, children playing in the streets, and nobles in their fine clothes, moving with purpose. Yet Tsukasa could feel the weight of the city's political undercurrents, like a storm waiting to break.

"There's a lot going on here," Elara observed, glancing around. "It's hard to even know where to begin."

"I've got a lead," Lumi said, her sharp eyes already locking onto a tavern down the street. It was old, weathered, with a sign swaying in the wind. "Let's start there. It's the kind of place where people go to talk."

Tsukasa nodded. "Lead the way."
