Elios looked at the system once again before wondering how he should go about the free attributes. Though, in the end he decided to keep them spare since he was confused between [Strength] and [Intelligence].
Strength would be required in emergency cases if Noah needed to fight a stronger monster but if he does happen to survive this cage and get out of here, there are probable chances that they would be able to get more [Skills] later on.
At that point, intelligence would be better than strength, allowing him to cast more spells at once.
[It's a dilemma at this point. Though… what should I do now?] (Elios)
Elios looked at Noah's body through the connection he had with him, and then slowly focusing on his surroundings, he found himself in a complete white space.
[Where am I?] (Elios)
He looked at the never ending space and felt a rather ominous creepy feeling from the oblivion horizon. But then, he somehow calmed himself down before wondering what exactly this space is.
[Hmmm… nothing comes to mind. What exactly is this space? Am I in my own subconscious or something?] (Elios)
Slowly he fell down on the white ground.
-Thud!
[Ouch!] (Elios)
[I can feel pain, huh? Strange] (Elios)
He couldn't feel the ground but somehow he could still get hurt? Strange.
[I wish there was at least a cushion or something?](Elios)
And as he thought that, his body lifted a bit up before he felt the comfy cushion below himself.
[Huh? Isn't this?](Elios)
It was his own bed. The one he used to sleep in the dorm room of the temple. And looking at it, a certain wild thought appeared in his mind before he clicked his finger.
[Woah!](Elios)
A table filled with all sorts of delicacies appeared a few meters away from Elios. His eyes widened at the sudden discovery before he ran towards the table before beginning to savour the taste of the food.
[This is good!!!](Elios)
And this began the journey of Elios trying out at least a dozen things within this space, summoning whatever he wished for. With trials and errors, he was also able to determine the extent of this 'power' he had.
He cannot summon a living being.
He cannot summon things which he has never seen.
Other than that, everything was possible… even the spells that he could only dream of using, he could do that with the click of his fingers.
A deep smile formed on his face but then it was halted as he felt Noah's movements.
[Looks like he is awake. All right! Let's continue where we left from!](Elios)
And somehow, Elios was far more determined than before. His eyes filled with excitement at the possibilities which he was calculating in his mind. And with that, he observed Noah and began talking with him once again.
[You awake? How do you feel?](Elios)
"Son of a…. Damn… "(Noah)
Holding his aching head, Noah slowly got up, his eyes observing the surrounding area. The dead bodies of the hounds and the black mages scattered around, made him recall how he was able to kill them all using that strange power just before.
"How long was I out for?"(Noah)
[About a few minutes or more.](Elios)
Noah nodded as he slowly stood up before looking around the area. While there was nothing much around, he found a few bones at the corner of the cavern. Picking those bones up, he then began moving out of the cavern.
A few meters through the path, and then it started ascending up. Given they were probably underground right now, it was actually good news that they could go up through here. Getting lost in an underground dungeon could potentially waste a lot of time.
One step at a time, the path ascended up until it elevated even more and stairs appeared in sight. Even though it was dark here, a faint glimmer of light was present not too far from here. And slowly reaching it, Noah found a strange big stone door at the end of the path.
"All right. Here goes nothing…"(Noah)
-KREE!!!!!
The heavy stone door opened up showing a starry sky above, along with 3 moons that defined that he was not on Earth anymore. And then gradually his eyes adapted to the surrounding area…
"Wha?!"(Noah)
Noah looked at the man standing with bodies of more than 3 dozen dark mages around him. The blonde man had a golden hue around him, along with an ambience of purity around him. Much opposite of what the surrounding scene displayed.
[He is Lucas. The Guardian of Saintess Alicia. And if he is here than that means-](Elios)
"My my. Looks like there is a survivor," a voice came from behind, as Noah turned around only to find a woman sitting above the door where Noah came from. Beside her was another woman, Zehra, tied in golden chains, wriggling in fear as she tried to break free from those chains.
"Saintess Alicia?"(Noah)
"So you know of me?"(Alicia)
The Saintess then jumped down before reaching close to Noah. Her eyes analyzed Noah from top to bottom, before looking at the bone in his hand before a smile appeared on her face as she asked,
"Are you the one that prayed?"(Alicia)
"?"(Noah)
"Hmmm. Well, thanks for that. Because of you, the Goddess was able to pinpoint you, and guide us."(Alicia)
As Noah was getting confused, Elios explained in terms that he could understand well.
[Prayers are heard by Goddesses. And Goddesses can talk to their Saintessess. When you prayed before, Goddess Alepsia might have heard your prayers and sent the nearest Saintess, Alicia, to us here.](Elios)
It was a bit complicated to understand, but Noah didn't bother much trying to make sense of that. All he knew was that the people here had come to protect him. And even though he couldn't really trust them, according to Elios' words, at least he can calm down for now.
"Are they the last of them?"(Lucas)
Lucas moved closer to them, while Noah began analyzing him from top to bottom.
'Can I defeat him?' (Noah)
[He is the strongest swordsman in the entire Light Continent. Even though you are quite capable, I doubt you can even put a scratch on him. At least for now…](Elios)
Hearing those words, Noah analyzed Lucas even more, observing the 'strongest' man of the continent with his own two eyes. Though Lucas simply chose to ignore him and focused on Alicia for now.
"Yeah. We should go now," Alicia spoke before clicking her fingers as an extremely high-end caravan appeared in the air in front of them.
Alicia boarded first before Lucas followed. The chained Sister Zehra was simply thrown into it before getting tied up in a corner spot.
"What are you waiting for? Get in."(Alicia)
And hearing Alicia's words, Noah nodded before getting into the carriage as well.
