Chapter 14 - expect the unexpected.
As Mathis got up and looked around, Theeven was nowhere to be seen and according to the party tab he seemed to be doing a quest.
But to Mathis's surprise there was someone else sitting not too far from him.. it was that unknown man.
"Hey!" Mathis called out to the man who looks at him before walking over.
"What did you need?" The man asked curiously.
"How did you get so powerful?" Mathis asks while trying to use stat sight.
**stat sight lvl. 1 activated.**
**stat sight lvl. 1 failed, target stats are too high.**
"I just train, alot." The man responds indifferently.
"I see.. is it possible for you to accompany me into the endless wave area?" Mathis asks the man, his expression going from confusion to curiosity.
"No it isn't possible, but seeing as you have the support skill I should be able lend you some of my skills depending on what enemy your fighting." The man answers as if that was basic knowledge.
"How do you get stronger so fas-" Mathis is cut off by the man.
"Quit asking questions before I kill you, your questions are annoying." The man speaks indifferently, Mathis could tell he meant that and went silent.
The man then tosses Mathis a big red gem.
"Use this when you are about to die for real." The man speaks before starting to walk away again.
"Wait but how do you use it, and what's your name!" Mathis questions the man one last time.
"You will know how to use it when the time comes, and for my name.. you will know eventually, and didn't I tell you to stop asking questions?" The man says before doing his signature move, disappearing into thin air.
"Oh come on.. i had more questions." Mathis pouts before scrolling on the shop abit, waiting for Theeven to come back from his quest.
"Now that I think about it, that was our first real conversation. He's always so mysterious.. dangit." Mathis thought to himself as he pouts even more, seemingly disappointed.
Before long it would seem that Mathis had fallen asleep sitting like that.
Mathis is woken up by Theeven walking around, as Mathis opens his eyes he sees Theeven looking frustrated.
"What's up?" Mathis asked Theeven.
"Nothing." Theeven responded coldly.
Before Mathis could further question him, they are interrupted by a massive explosion, the explosion causes a building to crumble and fall over.
**Short distant teleported lvl. 1 activated due to support lending it.**
Mathis manages to teleport out the way as Theeven calmly walks out the way as if it was nothing.
"So that grumpy dude really saved my as* again.." Mathis thinks to himself before looking at where the explosion came from, it was another wyvern destroyer of worlds.
"This is a good way to see how much we have progressed."
[Quest started - show your new power off.
Requirement: kill the wyvern.
Difficulty: 6/10
Time limit: 10 minutes
Penalty for failure: loss of all skills.
Reward: title - dragon slayer (+49% damage to all dragon type creatures.)]
"Your pretty ugly for a wyvern you know?" Mathis said, unlike the last time his face didn't hold fear but instead confidence and a teasing look.
The dragon attempts to spit fire at Mathis, but Mathis stood there, unfazed.
He simply appears ontop the dragon.

Mathis does not even attack, but instead just stands ontop of the dragon trying to act indifferent like the unknown man and Theeven.
[Support has sent a message: quit trying to play cool, it's annoying.]
Mathis sighs but complies and strikes down at the wyvern.

In one singular slash, Mathis beheads the dragon within ease.
"Wow.. I got seriously stronger." Mathis thinks to himself.
Theeven just watches, suprised and in awe but hid it behind his usual indifferent façade.
