When Teddy had returned home he was bombarded by the two women.
"Where were you? What were you doing?"
Mirella and Seraphine threw out questions like these at Teddy.
Teddy threw his arms up in surrender.
"Ladies, ladies, calm down. I'm alright."
Oh no he did not. Teddy just did a cardinal sin. He told not just one but two women to calm down. Any man should know you never tell a woman to calm down. That's just asking for trouble.
Mirella's face turned beat red.
"What did you just say to us?"
Awe ohh. Teddy was in trouble. When he looked at Seraphine, her face was just as red. Not good. Not good at all.
"Ladies I'm fine. There's no need to worry."
Seraphine replied angerly, "No need to worry? You snuck out looking for that Spectre, and think we would be okay about it?"
Mirella added, "And you did that alone."
Cat was out of the bag. No need hiding or making something up. Might as well come clean.
So Teddy told the two ladies what all happened. They were stunned to find out how easily he dealt with the Undertaker Spectre.
And when Teddy pulled out the black flower, both ladies gasp in shock. Mirella was the first to speak.
"That's Reaper Tulip. That is supposed to be strictly a myth. It's not supposed to exist."
Seraphine was just as shocked as she stated, "How did you say you got this again?"
Petty sighed as he answered, "It was leftover from killing the Undertaker Spectre."
Both women nodded in understanding. They both pondered about it and what it could mean.
Seraphine said, "We need to find a refinement technique that will explain how we can refine this flower. As it stands, because this flower is supposed to be nothing but a myth, no one knows what to do with it."
Teddy agreed with Seraphine. The three talked a little bit more about the Reaper Tulip before heading to bed.
The next day a knock was heard at the front door. The three were still in there pajamas and wasn't expecting visitors.
Teddy answered the door only cracking it so the two women wouldn't be seen. Mirella and Seraphine both went to their rooms to change at the same time.
"Yes?"
A man dressed in a black business suit stood there with two women dressed in business attire standing behind him.
The man said, "Mr Wilson, my name is Abdul Malik. I heard how you had dispatched of that Spirit last night. I was wondering if I could hire you for a job."
A job? So this man came early in the morning to ask Teddy about a job? Also he mentioned about last night. Teddy was sure that no one saw what happened.
"Mr Malik, I don't know what you heard but I'm sure you got the wrong person."
Mr Malik showed Teddy a picture. It was taken from a shadowy location. Teddy wasn't sure how he didn't notice the individual last night however the picture was very clear.
The picture showed a wall of Red Bayeti Blossoms in front of Teddy with a grim reaper looking spirit slamming into this wall.
Teddy nodded his head in understanding. He knew this picture was real because that's exactly what happened.
"Your man must be quite talented if I wasn't able to notice him."
Mr Malik chuckled as he said, "He just had a simple trinket that masked his presence."
Teddy nodded as he said, "That would explain why I wasn't able to notice him. So Mr Malik what kind of job did you have in mind?"
Mr Malik smiled and said "May I come in?"
And before Teddy could explain how he was only in pajamas Mr Malik added, "You can change if you want or you can remain your pajamas it doesn't matter to me Mr Wilson."
Teddy chuckled as he motioned for Mr Malik and the two ladies with him to enter.
Mr Malik turned to the two ladies after they entered and said to Teddy, "These are the Paik twins. They are my apprentices."
Teddy bow to them and then said, "It's an honor to meet you ladies."
The Paik twins returned the bow but their shock that Teddy knew some etiquette on their culture did not escape Teddy's notice.
The twins replied, "The honor is ours."
Teddy motioned for Mr Malik to go ahead and take a seat. Then he sat down as well.
"Ok Mr Malik, what's this job you have?"
Abdul Malik smiled as he said, "One million dollars per spirit you dispatch."
Teddy was confused.
He asked, "One million dollars per spirit? Before I agree you need to give me more information."
Abdul Malik smiled. He gave out what Teddy will be payed for before any information to test the waters. He wanted to see if the image was a one off thing or if Teddy truly had not problems facing off with the spirit realm.
Now he had his answer. It didn't matter if the Undertaker Spectre was after Teddy or not, Teddy would still fight spirits without a problem.
"I was just testing to see if I could interest you. I am not in the business of wasting your time and mine. Now that I got your attention I'll explain."
Teddy motioned for him to continue.
"You see Mr Wilson, I happen to have a problem at one of my facilities. There seems to be spirits that's trying to stop production and even have scared out all the employees."
Teddy couldn't hide his interest. Abdul continued.
"My man was at the Skyfield Cemetery because of the rumors about the Spectre there. He was ordered to gather Intel. Then you showed. His mission never changed so he observed you from the shadows. Then that's when the Undertaker Spectre ran into your shield and died right after."
Teddy rubbed his chin. So this Mr Malik wants him to get rid of a few spirits?
"Mr Malik, do you happen to know how many spirits there are or what types of spirits?"
Just as Teddy asked this question Seraphine walked into the room followed by Mirella. Teddy's question caught the ladies attention.
Abdul answered saying, "Mr Wilson, unfortunately we have no idea what types of spirits we're facing. As for how many, we believe there to be four or five."
Teddy nodded his head thinking.
Seraphine chimed in saying, "Mr Malik? As in the C.E.O. of Malik Industries?"
Abdul smiled at her and said, "You heard of me?"
Seraphine nodded and said, "Me and my sister have. Your company might not be the largest in the country but you're still an important figure."
Abdul nodded and replied, "I'm not sure how important I am. However have you heard my problem?"
Mirella piped in and said, "Though we only caught the tail end of your conversation with Teddy, the Moonlight Glade has heard of your problem."
Abdul's eyes grew wide as well as the Paik twins.
"Moonlight Glade? You two ladies are members of the Moonlight Glade?"
Both Seraphine and Mirella nodded as they said in unison, "We are."
Abdul looked at Teddy with a knowing smile.
"So Mr Wilson, you have an alliance with the Moonlight Glade?"
Teddy looked at Abdul for a second before responding.
"I haven't talked to the head of the Moonlight Glade about an alliance. I was just told if I was willing to form one I had to take on these ladies as partners."
Abdul laughed then said, "Don't you mean dual cultivators? Well if you have dual cultivated with just one of these beautiful ladies then you're already in an alliance with the Moonlight Glade."
Teddy turned red as he turned and looked at Mirella and Seraphine. The two ladies looked sheepish as Teddy stared at them.
Teddy turned back to Abdul Malik and said, "Ok, to get back on point Mr Malik. Where is the location?"
Abdul replied, "It's in up state New York. A warehouse that my company owns. The spirits are keeping any employee from entering the warehouse. This is effecting business Mr Wilson."
Teddy agreed saying, "I see. That would be a problem. But may I ask, did you received any threats before this all started or made any new enemies?"
Abdul said, "I received threats all the time so give me a second Mr Wilson."
Teddy replied, "Take you time Mr Malik."
Time passed as Abdul racked his brain for answers. Then it hit him.
" Yes. A shadowy figure approached me just a few nights before it all started. He wanted me to join some organization to which I cannot remember the name of. I told him no and he said I would eventually change my mind."
Teddy nodded and said, "I see. And did he give you a location to meet him if you ever changed your mind?"
Abdul turned to the Paik twins and asked, "Do you two know if there's an address?"
The twins looked at their electronic tablets for an answer.
One of them finally said, "We do sir."
