Teddy scoffed before saying, "You think of yourself as being high and mighty. That you're morally better? It's no wonder why you stumbled into a war and didn't realize it."
Thalindra's expression changed from discuss to one of confusion. What did this man mean by stumbling into a war? The Moonlight Glade is not at war with anyone.
Seeing the look on her face, Teddy continued, "We got rid of the man that ruined Mirella's honor and your sect's image. The thing is he was under the influence of a deamon faction."
Teddy let that information sink in before continuing.
"Deamons are showing themselves more and more lately. We came to research someone. And my gut tells me that this individual might be in the clutches of this deamon faction."
Thalindra pinched the bridge of her nose. If what this man is telling her is true, then the Moonlight Glade has a huge problem.
"I don't know what you can find from our archives, however I will let you look as long as you share your findings."
Teddy had no choice but to agree to this. He had to research anything he could about Mr Malik. He could not run into the job he took blindly.
If anything, when he's done with his research he could use it to his advantage. If Mr Malik is trying to set him up, he can just turn the tables on him.
"I agree."
Thalindra nodded as she said, "Ok then. You may go to the archives to find what you need. Also, we would still like some kind of alliance with. Since we cannot agree that you'll send any daughters to us, will you at least agreed to let us talk to them when they come of age?"
Teddy thought about this. On one hand, having an alliance with this sect would be beneficial. On the other hand, he wants to create his own sect. If all he has is daughters, and they all go to the Moonlight Glade, it would make it much more difficult to form his sect.
In the end Teddy nodded his head and agreed.
"I can accept these terms for an alliance. However if any of my daughters refuses you must agree to let that be the end of it."
Thalindra nodded her head and said, "We can accept these terms."
And just like that Teddy head formed in alliance with the Moonlight Glade.

Back in New York City:
A man was standing looking outside of a window on the top floor of a skyscraper. The door to the room he was in opens up slowly as an aid walks in.
"Sir, he's here."
The man by the window nodded and the aid let another man into the room. Then they aid closed the door and the room felt like it started to get cold.
"Has he gone to the warehouse yet?"
The man that had entered the room started to shake in fear.
"No Sir. We're not sure where he went. However our intelligence says he is looking for information."
The man by the window asked, "What kind of information."
The other man responded, "I am told that it's information on the warehouse itself."
The man by the window chuckled a little bit.
He said, "Good. As long as he is researching the warehouse that means he doesn't suspect a thing. If he had decided to research you on the other hand."
The man by the window left that statement open. He wanted to let his subordinate guess what the implication could have ment.
The subordinate answer, "Then I never truly gained his trust. And thus he might find out what your scheme is."
The man turned to face his supportive. A scar running through his eye socket could be seen.
"And that would have been most unfortunate for you Abdul."
The subordinate who is now identified as Abdul laughed nervously. He knew that now he should leave but he did not want to seem rude.
Noticing this, the man with the scar on his face said, "You may leave. I'm not going to get rid of you yet. As long as Teddy shows up to the warehouse, you have nothing to fear."
Abdul gulped nervously. He bowed in respect and left the room.
A figure that was in the shadow stepped forward.
The shadowy figure said, "Mr Grant. You better hope that Teddy shows up. Or Abdul and yourself would be in trouble."
Though you would have to look very carefully, the man with a scar through his eye socket looked very nervous. Now this man's name was David Grant.
The reason his name was David Grant is because he should be dead. According to the news he died in a plane crash five years ago. The truth was much worse. David Grant is what the cultivation world would call and undead.
Now the undead is not what most would think. The undead were individuals that made deals with high ranking deamons. In return for blind loyalty, these high ranking deamons would grant them immortality.
However this immortality came at a cost higher than what the blind loyalty demanded from the high ranking deamons required. These undead had to live off of the life essence of living beings.
There were a few different kinds of undead however they all had that same trait about them. More importantly they were picky on the kind of life essence they fed off of.

Moonlight Glade Temple:
Mirella and Seraphine led Teddy to the archives building. When the three entered, Teddy turned pale. The amount of information located in this place was immense.
The three spent days digging through the archives. There was information so old, it was written on scrolls. But there was just as much information written in books. And there were just as much newer books as ones that were over a thousand years old.
Teddy was begining to think they might need to leave. It appears that to find the information he wanted, he might need to spend months in the archives.
Unfortunately Teddy didn't have that much time to wait. On the fifth day, he decided this would be the last day searching. If they didn't find anything, they would head to the warehouse to finish the job he was hired for.
As he walked into the archives with Mirella and Seraphine, he felt drawn to a specific shelf. Now everyday he felt this drawing and he ignored it. He thought it was just in his mind.
However this morning, the drawing to walk over to a specific shelf was stronger than ever.
He walked over to the shelf as the ladies spread out to start their search. As he stood in front of the shelf, a scroll stood out from the rest.
He took the scroll down and walked over to a table. There he opened it and began to read.
He discovered the existence of an ancient sect that followed deamon lords. The sects name wasn't known however their activities were.
They'd sacrifice individuals to these deamon lords in exchange for power. No one knew why the deamon lords wanted sacrifices however that was just part of the deal.
Another part was that the deamon lords wanted to enslave the world. This sect had no qualms with this as long as they were able to have a slice of the pie.
Now according to this scroll, an ancient war broke out between the sects wanting to save the world and this sect with their deamon lords.
This war was bloody and brutal. Many died because of it. Then one day it just ended. There was no reason why that was given in the scroll. The scroll just said it ended.
Teddy mumbled to himself saying, "Well one question is solved but another took it's place."
It figures this would be Teddy's luck. He stored the scroll knowing that he had to uphold his end of the deal.
He continued to look around. Right before lunch time he felt drawn to an old leather book. He grabbed it and began to read.
This book talked about a war where deamon lords tried to take over the world. It became clear that this war wasn't the same one from the scroll.
However the book did mention that the war mentioned in the scroll was called the First War of the Realms. It said that an ancient unknown sect opened this realm up to attacks from the deamon realm.
The book stated that it was for this reason that they were fighting the Second War of the Realms.
"So man caused this problem?"
Teddy felt overwhelmed however something clicked in him. Memories from a life not his own flooded into his mind. He remembered battles long forgotten in a war no one knew.
"The Third War of the Realms? That means..."
Teddy fainted on the spot. When he came to, he found himself laying on a bed. The book he had been reading was next to him.
"Another war! We're about to face another war! I must stop it!"
Teddy was acting irrational. Nurses had to tied his hands and feet to the bed. Thalindra walked over and placed her hand on his chest.
"Calm down. Calm down."
After a few seconds she added, "Good. Calm. Okay now tell me what's wrong?"
