"I gave you just one simple task and you blew it"prince Venus snapped at his wife when he found out she'd picked a fight with lunar.
"What,is it my fault?"
"Oh no it's mine"Venus retorted and his wife stifled a hiss
"She bumbed into me and was too arrogant to apologize"
Venus turned to his wife, grabbed her hair and tilted her head..he whispered harshly
"Samonica,I don't care if she stepped on your toe or stole your lunch..it's a very simple task,be friends with her.. it's an order "he let go of her hair and she whimpered.
"Look here,the reason I asked you to be friends with her is because I need you to know daemon's weak point through her,do you understand "he barked but his wife was barely able to speak
"Have I made myself clear samonica?!"
"Yes..yes my lord,"samonica concurred much to her husband's disgust
"Oh drop the formality,I correct you doesn't mean you seize to be my wife..listen everything I do,I do for our own good "Venus muttered and his wife looked at him with teary eyes
"I know you don't understand cuz your brain is so small.here,let me break it down..if I defeat daemon and take over the kingdom,you will become queen."he paused to see her reaction;she was numb and indifferent,tears licking down her cheek in slow torrent.
"When you become queen,you gain full domain over the empire and you wouldn't be treated like trash anymore..you will prove to your fat ass father that you can be better than him"Venus took his time to lecture his wife on why they needed to eliminate daemon and how it would all work for their good but samonica was no fool.
Looking at the man she was married to,she could swear on her last breath that if he should become king,her life would turn into a living hell.well it already is!!
"Since you can't make yourself useful by giving me children, this simple task wouldn't be too much to ask,or would it?"he taunted and his wife burst into tears.it wasn't her fault that she kept having cryptic pregnancy and always had a miscarriage when the pregnancy was three weeks gone.she had done everything she could and the physician had promised there was nothing wrong with her and that she was fine.venus was the one who refused to have a test run on him since he forbade science practices and believed there was nothing wrong with him
"Did you hear what I just said woman?"Venus barked his wife out of her thoughts.
"Hun..?!"she gasped wide eyed
"I said you have 72hours to make friends with that girl and I don't care how you do it.. make yourself useful,you don't wanna know what I will do to you if you fail."he instructed in a draconic tone and stormed out of the room startling the guards at their post
