Samonica's POV
"Did you deliver the letter,did she get it"I asked grabbing my handmaid by her shoulder
"Yes my lady but the knight at her door wouldn't let me in so I handed him the letter to deliver to her"
"Oh you poor fool!"I tutted and rolled my eyes.how was I sure that knight had delivered the letter to lunar.i was perplexed,just one tiny job and Sasha blew it
"But my lady I made sure to wait to see if the knight came out of the room without the letter"sash said looking very proud of herself.
"And?!"
"He did.. infact I saw gret myself holding the letter which means the princess has received it"
I snapped at Sasha"I do not enjoy maids reading my letters,that letter should have been only in lunar's hands but what's done is done"
"Okay my lady"my maid bowed her head and excused herself to give me space to think.

Lunar's POV
I carefully tore open the seal of the letter and out came a green kite shaped paper.I unfolded it and let out a short gasp.samonica's handwriting was a little too slanted so I found it difficult to read the letter.
"May I?"gret offered,her eyes gleaming with mischief
"Nah.. maybe I will read it later"I smiled back and put the letter away..I caught a frown on her face before it vanished like it never even happened.
"Is there something else you would like me to do?"my handmaid asked somewhat disappointed.
"No."was my abrupt reply
"Are you sure my lady"
"Ohh I guess there's something I want you to do..go to lady Ariel and tell her I want to speak with her"I smugged as greta's face turned sour.
"Hun?...but my lady".
"You wanted to do something for me didn't you "I asked sweetly
"Yes but .."
I cut her off"no stuttering,go and fetch me lady Ariel, daemon's aunt.be fast about it "
"Okay my lady "Greta gulped and turned to leave but her skirt got caught under her feet and she tripped subconsciously hitting down the miniature belladonna I always kept close to my door.tge flower pot shattered before my eyes reminded me of a flashback.
Of when my father was trying to marry me off to daemon and was barging out of the room when he knocked over the flower pot.i held my breath as my maid quickly picked herself up and dusted her dress.she'd incurred a small cut on her elbow but it appeared to be deep cuz she bled profusely.
"Am sorry my lady,that was not intentional"she sputtered,her face turning red,it was the first time I was seeing her cry.
I was numb,I wanted to help her but I felt myself rooted to a spot,I couldn't breathe.
