Our wedding went perfectly except for the altercation caused by Leonard's parents after they arrived uninvited to the wedding. At first, I had wondered why Leonard did not invite them to the wedding, and after witnessing the tension between them, I understood why.
Although Leonard tried to be polite especially after Idris whispered to him, I easily saw through him that he didn't mean any of what he said. It was the same reason I had cheerfully aroused him from sleep this morning after Margaret informed me of his parents' arrival.
I hadn't bothered to go to them to say I, not after they totally ignored me yesterday during the wedding. It was obvious they didn't want me for their son but as far as I was concerned, and I was the only woman Leonard can feel complete with, their preferences didn't matter.
