Once I was sure that Nicole had drifted off to sleep, I strolled to the far end of the bedroom where a small sized desk and a chair was situated, luckily they had not put it away to accommodate more of Nicole's stuff. I brought out my personal laptop, and set it on the desk, ready to get myself busy.
Beginning from today, I would be on leave for the next two months, and although I trusted Idris to put in his best in running the company throughout the duration of my leave, I couldn't for the life of me sit back and not do anything.
I logged into my system, and browsed through it. There were deals I had left uncompleted since the last time I was at the office which was about a week ago, and I needed to complete them myself. Although Idris wouldn't mind completing them for me, I wanted to do it myself. I needed to do something else rather than eat, have sex and sleep.
