*Note: in the next chapter, many things will become very interesting, I'll assure you.
Well, today I'll only say one thing, leave me a review if you want and leave a comment with your oppinion, that's all.
And have a good day :)
...
As Momioka sank into thought, Haruna did too. Did Lala really say she allows Akira to have multiple wives? In what world would a girl share her man with other women?
"Wait! Why did I feel a little happy?!" - Haruna asked herself.
(Note: Little by little, but this is just the beginning.)
Mio also had her own thoughts on the matter, but for now, they remained a mystery.
Seeing everyone's expressions… honestly, I was surprised. To be fair, I expected them to look at me with disgust or start seeing me differently — you know, like any normal girl would. However, there was no such expression on their faces. So maybe they didn't dislike the idea as much as I thought. Either way, it's a pretty good start.
However, after that, the tense atmosphere returned to normal, and we continued talking as we had before. I don't know if the girls were purposely avoiding the topic, but they didn't ask us anything else about our relationship, we just chatted about trivial things until classes started.
While Akira and Lala happily talked with Haruna and the others, Rito glanced back at the newly formed group of friends and sighed to himself. This time, he couldn't hear the conversation, as they were apparently speaking in low voices on purpose and the fact that his friend Saruyama wouldn't stop saying dumb things and kept talking to him nonstop didn't help either. For a moment, Haruna and the others looked surprised, but seconds later, they went back to speaking normally.
"What do you think they're talking about?" - asked Saruyama.
"No idea" – Rito said.
How was he going to know if he didn't shut up for a second? They were already talking quietly, but if he didn't shut up, he couldn't hear anything of their conversation. But Rito's kindness prevented him from speaking like that to his best friend.
"Hey. Don't you think it's strange that suddenly Sairenji-san's group have befriended the "Shadowy Akira"?" – Saruyama asked.
"Shadowy Akira" was the nickname given to Akira, but it was rarely used since no one paid attention to him anymore. However, now that Akira seemed more active, the nickname had started to make a comeback.
"It's weird, but... What do you expect me to do?" – Rito sighed.
Akira did not seem like a bad person, because although he was mediocre in all aspects and even skipped class frequently, he had never gotten into trouble, so now that he seemed to be changing, it is normal that some people want to be his friends, especially women. Akira was a pretty handsome man and although he wasn't the most handsome of them all, he was attractive enough for girls to notice him. Is it possible that Haruna also liked Akira's look and that's why she became his friend?
But that idea quickly disappeared from Rito's mind. Haruna wasn't that kind of girl. Surely, the reason why they were friends now is because they talked and Haruna discovered that Akira was a good person and little by little they were talking until they became friends. Also: What could happen between them? Akira already had that girl, Lala, as his fiancée and there was also Momioka and Mio in between. It is obvious that nothing could happen between the two of them, but then: Why did he had a bad feeling?
Yesterday, he asked his sister Mikan for advice on how to win over Haruna, but the answer he got was the same as before: "First, you need to approach her. If you don't even talk to her, how is Haruna supposed to feel your feelings?" Those were Mikan's exact words, and Rito admitted that she was right. If he didn't talk to Haruna or get closer to her, how did he expect her to understand his feelings? Obviously, he needed to start a conversation first.
However, despite knowing that, he still couldn't approach the group of friends. If it had already been difficult when only Momioka and Mio were there, now that Akira and Lala were also part of the group, it was even worse. That's why Rito kept asking himself: What should I do?Maybe he should try befriending Akira and have him introduce him to the group.Yes, it was worth a shot, after all, he had nothing to lose.
"Are you listening to me, Rito?" – Saruyama asked suddenly.
"Ah. Yes, of course" – Rito nodded.
But he hadn't heard a single word from Saruyama.
"Then leave it to me! Your best friend will uncover the mysteries behind this sudden and strange friendship!" – said Saruyama.
Rito sighed: What did he plan to find out? Does Saruyama believe that this is a manga and that Akira has magic that helps him hypnotize people? It was clear that their friendship was sincere. But since Saruyama wouldn't believe him, why try to get him to stop doing such stupid things? Better to let him do what he wanted.
As he continued pensively looking at the group, classes began before he knew it...
…
After school.
The day had been boring. Apart from the chats with Lala, Haruna, Momioka and Mio, everything else was a complete boredom. The good thing is that it was all over and we could finally go home. Or so I thought, but at the entrance of the school, Zastin, dressed as an ordinary human, was waiting for us.
Zastin was wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt and black shorts, as well as black sneakers.
"Hello, Zastin!" – Lala greeted.
"Good afternoon, Lala-sama, Akira-sama" – Zastin greeted respectfully.
Since Akira had been accepted as his king's heir, Zastin now had to treat him in the same way as the royal family.
"You don't need to be so polite. You can talk to me normally" – I said.
I don't like that kind of formalities, they make me feel uncomfortable.
"No way. I couldn't do that" – Zastin refused.
To speak in such a carefree way to the future king of the Galaxy? No way!
"Haa... however you want. By the way: What are you doing here?" – I asked curiously.
"Akira-sama, Lala-sama, His Majesty wants to see you. He told me that he wants to speak to Akira-sama immediately" – Zastin said.
Well, the time has come. Although to be honest, I thought it would take a little longer to arrive.
"Oh. What does Dad want?" – Lala asked with a frown.
"Don't worry about anything, Lala-sama. His Majesty just wants to meet Akira-sama" - Zastin said.
"But..." – Lala tried to say.
"Don't worry, Lala. He just wants to meet me, besides, he's your father and I should meet him" – I said with a smile.
"Okay" - Lala nodded.
In any case, the meeting between us would happen sooner or later, so better sooner than later.
"Very good. Follow me, please" – Zastin said.
Then, Zastin guided us to the same park as yesterday, however, this time we went into the forest, where a huge spaceship was located.
"This... I don't think this place is suitable to contain a spaceship. Normal human could see it after all" – I asked curiously.
It is so huge that it would be seen just by getting a little closer to the forest.
"Don't worry. Most of the time it has invisible mode activated, no one can see it. I just removed that mode temporarily so we can enter" - Zastin said.
"Then, that's fine" - I said.
It's amazing to see such a futuristic-looking spaceship up close, but I still kept my composures.
"Enter, please" - Zastin said.
Lala and I entered the spaceship. Inside, the spaceship was very much like the ones I used to see in science fiction movies. There were so many buttons and levers, it was hard to know what each of those things was for.
"Fine. I will call your Majesty. He must be impatient" - Zastin said.
When he said that, I noticed that on the front, there was a pretty big screen.
After tapping a few buttons, suddenly, an intimidating figure appeared on screen.
"You're finally calling me, Zastin. I was already starting to lose patience" – said the king.
It was Gid. His appearance was the same as the anime.
{Note: Why fill the chapter with unnecessary descriptions? If you don't know how Gid looks like, Google him}
"Hello, Dad!" – Lala said suddenly.
Zastin didn't even have time to make an excuse.
"Hello, my little girl. Are you okay there? Are you missing something? If you want, Dad can send you anything you need" – said the king.
It seems that he is quite soft on Lala. Was him like that in anime and manga? I don't remember.
"No thanks! Akira treats me very well!" – Lala said happily grabbing my arm.
Suddenly, Gid fixed his gaze on me.
"Are you Akira, my daughter's fiancé?" – Gid asked.
His tone had completely changed and now he looked more intimidating, nothing to do with the attitude shown to Lala a moment ago.
"Yes, it's me. Nice to meet you, I'm Akira Sato" – I nodded.
"Fine. You don't need to be so formly, after all, we will be family soon" – said Gid.
He didn't seem to be smiling or anything, but his tone seemed quite sincere, or so it seemed.
"If you say so" - I said calmly.
It's not that I'm afraid of him or anything like that, it's just respect. Also, even if he's not here physically, he seems to give off some sort of rather intimidating aura.
"Very good. Now let's move on to more important issues" - said Gid.
"Tell me" - I said.
"As you well know, yesterday I told Zastin to test your strength" – Gid said.
"That's right. And I think the fight was pretty good" - I nodded.
"You are a good warrior, Akira-sama" - Zastin nodded.
"Thank you" – I thanked.
"Either way, you passed the test. But you should know that I didn't impose that test on you because I wanted to get rid of you, don't get me wrong. As you may have already been informed I am Gid Lucion Deviluke, current King of the galaxy and as king of the galaxy, my heir cannot be a simple weakling, but a powerful man, a man with leadership skills and who makes his enemies fear him. But a king should only be cruel to his enemies and a good king to his people, those are virtues that you will be able to acquire with time, I am sure. But today I didn't make you come here just to inform you of all this" – Gid explained.
"I hear you" – I said.
"Akira Sato, earthling of planet Earth, with the power and authority that I have, I, Gid Lucion Deviluke I, appoint you my official heir and, therefore, the fiancé of my first daughter, Lala Satalin Deviluke" – said Gid.
Hearing this, Lala's eyes lit up and her joy reached levels never seen before.
"Am I finally officially Akira's fiancée now?!" – Lala exclaimed.
"That's right. From this moment on, Akira is my heir and, therefore, your fiancé" – Gid nodded.
"Hurrah! Did you hear it, Akira? Now it's official!" – Lala said jumping for joy.
"Thank you very much for recognizing our commitment and I promise to live up to your expectations" – I said.
"That's a really good attitude and I like it! However, not only have I called you to officially become my heir, there is something else you should know" - Gid said.
This time his expression had become serious, so it sure is something extremely important. I wonder what it is about.
"Now that I have officially named you as my heir, I have no choice but to inform the rest of the galaxy about Lala's engagement, so that those nobles stop sending marriage proposals because now Lala will marry you in the near future" – Gid explained.
In the near future? Ok, it's fine. Anyway, I doubt that marriage will change things much in terms of Lala and I's relationship, being the king of the galaxy is a problem that I will solve in the future.
I thought Gid was done and I tried to say something else, but...
"However, many of the nobles who were Lala's suitors for years will not agree with my decision and they will try to kill you using all means at their disposal" - Gid said.
I expected it, because the same thing happened in the manga, even so, I couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
"What?!" – Lala exclaimed.
But it wasn't me who exclaimed it out loud, it was Lala.
