I barely slept a wink last night, I actually got into my brides chambers to catch a glimpse of her wedding gown but it's a waste effort. I got bord with the party from last night, Antonio J and James as well as the prince were a team bulling me, well not bulling but getting on my nerves. I got frustrated with the rules of not seeing the bride before the wedding ha, just thinking about the risk I took just to be with my strong headed bride and she still chased me away.
"A penny for your thoughts bro" James said as he got inside my room together with Antonio.
"You're not poor to give me just a penny" I replied him
"It's almost time dude_ let's get going" Antonio J said.
"It's my wedding hope you gonna find someone new as there are alot of pretty ones around here" I told him but he smiled, I know that smile he had it on back in highschool when his crush accepted his proposal.
" He's crushing on someone" James said. " Am not_ I've already spoken to her and she promised to give me response after the wedding" Antonio J said refuting what James said
"Okay_ all the best, now if you may excuse me I'll step out for my wedding" I told them both as I got out of the room walking into the garden of different flowers. I saw my both parents as I got inside the vast hall were the wedding will be held.
"Mom and dad" I called out to them
"Yes son, am so proud of you" my dad said giving my shoulder a tap mom hugged me as she dapped her eyes with handkerchief preventing her tears from falling.
" You won't look pretty if you do that" I jokingly said to mom who sniffed back the tears.
"Go ahead son" dad said to me as it's time I Walk in_ just as I took gentle steps through the aisle I drifted back memory lane from the very first day I set eyes on the twelve years old Vida. Her smiles were captivating, her fairness in dealing with others, her strict personality, her love and dedication towards her family and dear ones, her good listening nature, what_ scrab that as she's now strong willed and stubborn to me. I stood at the stage with the priest waiting for my bride as the bridesmaids came in pers with my groomsmen. Then the moment everyone was waiting for arrived the door which was closed immediately the last couples got in is now opened.
My bride is looking heavenly stunning,
"Jesus Christ" I murmured, the king walked down the aisle with his beloved daughter with smiles.
"I King Damian Arthur give you my precious jewel to look after her as your wife, I blessed your union" the king said as he gave his daughter's hand in mine
" Thank you your_" I was saying but stopped by the king.
"Henceforth it's DAD for you" he said.
"Alright dad" I replied and he hugged me but he whispered into my ears.
" If you ever cause my daughter to shared a tear I'll cut your balls" then he left. I hooked hands with my wife and walked up to the priest.
The priest begins the process and after some minutes he it's time for our vows.
" Victor Lin Frederick, do you take Princess Annabelle Damian Arthur to be your lawful wedded wife?, to love and to hold, in riches and in poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I Victor Lin Frederick, promise to love you Annabelle Vida Damian Arthur with all am made off, both in sickness and in better health. To make amends to my flaws when am wrong, to be by your side till we're both old and grey, till death do us part. I do." I said as I slipped her ring into her ring finger then placed soft kiss on her hands.
"Princess Annabelle Damian Arthur, do you take Victor Lin Frederick as your lawful wedded husband, to love and to hold, In sickness and in health, in riches and in poorer, till death do you part?"
"I do promise to be a loving wife, understanding and resolving every of our problems together, to respect you my dear husband even though am strong headed sometimes, I'll cherish our friendship now turned love till death do us part, I do". She said as put my ring on my ring finger.
The priest continued the process shortly before saying " by the virtue bestowed upon me as a priest of God to mankind, I pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss your bride" I smiled because I've been waiting for this moment, I took off her veil off her face then kissed her cupping her face passionately for God knows how long. How I've wished to display my affection to the world for her but circumstances didn't allow it.
"You're breath taken Mrs Frederick"
