AT THE SAME TIME
ISABELLA'S POINT OF VIEW:
It didn't take long to reach a new location. The Iron Warden's armory wasn't far, according to the map, just three blocks down from the inn, shrouded in mist and shadow. The building was enormous, iron barred windows gleaming dully in the morning light. Its stone walls were etched with runes, some still faintly glowing.
"Well… that looks promising." Damien said, squinting at the iron doors. "Anybody else getting 'keep out or die' vibes?"
"You always get those vibes." Noa teased, nudging him.
"Because I'm usually right!"Damien said.
Before anyone could banter more, Xavier stepped forward, hands grazing the iron doors. For a moment, I thought nothing would happen, but then the ground rumbled slightly, dust falling from the cracks above. He glanced back, eyes sharp. "Get ready."
Soren sighed, stretching his arms out dramatically.
"I just wanted breakfast. Is that too much to ask?"Soren groaned.
Vanessa smirked, elbowing him.
