Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 : Smoker You have a grudge against me, right?

Hina arrived just as Hikaru knocked out the people on the street. She had been observing from the shadows, remaining unnoticed—even by Tashigi—when she entered the coffee shop.

Hikaru's words weren't just directed at Tashigi but also at Hina, aiming to make her see the true nature of the Navy.

When Hina saw Hikaru, she simply nodded before silently leaving. She made no attempt to stop him.

She understood that by not interfering, she had ensured the survival of her subordinates. Nothing could change Hikaru's decision.

If she had spoken up to stop him or begged for mercy, she would have only made things worse for herself.

If she tried to intervene, she might even face punishment from Hikaru.

With no other choice, Tashigi was half-forced to leave the coffee shop with him.

Once she regained her composure, she focused on her task and led Hikaru through the streets of Loguetown.

After walking for a while, they encountered Robin and the others.

"Onii-chan!"

Vivi's excited voice rang out as she rushed toward Hikaru. He smiled and patted her head in response.

Loguetown was small, so running into familiar faces after just a few steps wasn't surprising.

At that moment, small clouds floated beside each of them, carrying various items—snacks, clothes, jewelry, and even a barbecue grill.

Thin cloud strings wrapped around their hands, allowing them to carry the floating loads effortlessly.

"Is this the Navy officer you were looking for? She's really beautiful~" Nami approached with a warm smile, grabbing Tashigi's hand.

"That's right. Don't scare her—she's still a bit confused right now~"

"Thank you~ You're very beautiful too..." Tashigi quickly replied, embarrassed by their friendliness. It seemed that becoming Hikaru's concubine didn't mean she had fallen into despair.

"Nami, Vivi~ Don't bother them. Let them enjoy their time together." Robin chuckled as she gently pulled the two girls away.

"Hikaru, we've almost finished shopping. Let's head back and have some barbecue first. If you two come back late, there won't be any left~"

"It's fine. If I can't have the barbecue, I'll just eat you instead."

Hikaru teased, flashing a grin, while Robin shot him a flirtatious glance. He then signaled Tashigi to continue leading the way.

Eventually, she guided him to the Marine base.

After spending some time at the training grounds—her usual place for sword practice—she returned to her dormitory, gathered her belongings, and bid farewell to Loguetown.

Hikaru carried her back to Yasuie. Since everyone was already there, they enjoyed a barbecue dinner together.

After eating and drinking, everyone retired for the night…

But for some, sleep was out of the question.

Tashigi, her face flushed, stood in the courtyard of Yasuie, gripping Shigure tightly as she practiced her sword swings, her body trembling from exhaustion and emotion.

Later that night, Hina—whose Observation Haki had recently awakened—noticed her and approached. The two women talked for a long time under the moonlit sky.

Meanwhile, in another part of Loguetown, Smoker sat in his office, his eyes bloodshot, his desk littered with cigar butts.

After waking from his unconscious state, he immediately reported the situation to Marine Headquarters, informing them that he had been attacked by the "God Emperor" Hikaru and requesting permission to pursue him.

But the response he received was clear—stay put. He was not allowed to give chase.

This only fueled his hatred for Hikaru. Not only had he taken Hina, the Navy's goddess, but now he had even come to Loguetown and taken his only female subordinate as well.

Smoker clenched his fists and cursed in frustration: Damn it, Hikaru, do you have some personal grudge against me?!

Unaware of Smoker's internal breakdown, Hikaru was in high spirits. Smoker was simply too weak to be taken seriously.

As he rested, he controlled Yasuie to accelerate through the calm waters.

All the beauties of the East Blue who could enhance his strength and whom he could afford to keep by his side had already joined his team of goddesses.

Of course, there were still a few women left in the East Blue he had yet to claim, but most of them had already moved on to other seas. He would simply have to "coincidentally" run into them in the future.

For now, it was time to return.

A few days later, the sky was a clear blue, and a gentle breeze swept through the air.

Grand Line – Jaya Island, Mock Town

This was the other half of the island that once housed the sacred land of Shandora. Now, it had become a lawless haven where pirates gathered to drink, gamble, and revel in debauchery.

High above, a thousand meters in the sky, Yasuie hovered in midair. Hikaru's Observation Haki swept across Jaya Island, scanning every corner—including the port and the pirate ships anchored there.

However, despite the sheer number of pirates, most of them were weaklings without Devil Fruit abilities. None were worth his time, so he had no interest in descending to take a closer look.

"Thunder: Float-Float Power!"

BOOM!!

A surge of lightning, infused with floating energy, crashed down at the center of Jaya Island. Unfortunate pirates caught in its path were instantly reduced to charred corpses.

The power of the Float-Float Fruit spread across the island, seeping into the unconscious bodies of those who had fallen under its influence.

"Float-Float: Earth Dragon's Upheaval!"

The entire island trembled violently. Beneath the waves, the seabed rumbled as massive landmasses began rising from the ocean.

Freed from the water's gravitational pull, the island rapidly ascended—but for the pirates, this was a nightmare.

"H-Hey! What the hell is happening!?"

"No way… The island is moving?!"

"Damn it! I just got here today, and now I have to deal with this?!"

"Could it be… an Upward Current?!"

Panicked screams filled the air as pirates scrambled to hold onto anything they could. Many dropped to the ground, digging their fingers into the earth, fearing they'd be flung into the sky.

As the island's speed increased, those too weak to withstand the pressure coughed up blackened blood before collapsing into unconsciousness.

No one knew how much time had passed before Jaya finally broke through the White Sea at 7,000 meters, then ascended further, passing through the White-White Sea, and finally arriving at Hikaru's Kingdom of God.

Now positioned near Upper Yard, Jaya Island and Shandora formed a massive landmass, resembling a giant skull in the sky.

Meanwhile, Hikaru's concubines had been protected by his Float-Float powers, allowing them to reach Sky Island without the slightest turbulence inside Yasuie.

At the moment, they each had a small cloud wrapped around their noses, providing them with a steady supply of oxygen. The air in the Sky Islands was much thinner than in the Blue Sea, and sudden exposure could leave ordinary people weak and breathless. The cloud would gradually dissipate as they adapted.

As Hikaru stood at the edge of his floating island, his gaze instinctively turned toward Upper Yard.

At that moment, the voices of the island's inhabitants erupted in ecstatic cries.

"It's God!!"

"Lord God! Ohhh!!"

"My Lord God! Please let me bear the Son of God for you!"

On the edge of Upper Yard, the citizens of the Kingdom of God cheered wildly. Some innocent young girls even shouted embarrassing things that made the adults blush.

Directly in front of them, the God's Guard stood in perfect formation. Each warrior wore dazzling armor that gleamed in the sunlight.

Their armor bore the sacred insignia of the Kingdom of God—white angel wings spread on both sides, with the word "God" engraved in the center. It was the same emblem that adorned the Kingdom's flag.

With solemn expressions and unwavering resolve, the divine soldiers stood at attention, awaiting their Lord's inspection.
