After a brief silence, the two women finally spoke their names.
"Jessica, Cobat."
Hikaru waved his hand, signaling the angels to step forward. They carefully removed the women's handcuffs before leaving the hall, closing the door behind them.
The sound of the door shutting made Jessica and Cobat tremble slightly. They instinctively licked their dry lips, their nervousness apparent.
"My name is Hikaru," he said calmly. "I am the God and Emperor of the Kingdom of God. You don't need to be afraid. Let's start with introductions."
Jessica and Cobat exchanged uncertain glances, unsure of how to respond.
Seeing their hesitation, Hikaru took control of the conversation.
"Jessica, you go first."
Jessica forced a smile, suppressing her unease.
"I'm a chef from Marine Headquarters. I was originally assigned as the head chef of the Marine G-8 branch, but… I didn't expect to be captured on my way there."
Hikaru nodded before turning his attention to Cobat.
"I'm a pediatrician from Marine Headquarters," Cobat explained. "I was also assigned to the G-8 branch, but..."
Hikaru cut in, his expression unreadable. "So, you've accepted your new identity?"
"...Yes," Cobat admitted hesitantly. "They told us that as long as we behaved as the god's concubines, the captured Marines wouldn't be harmed."
"Have either of you had any experience with men before?"
Jessica and Cobat both shook their heads.
Hikaru smiled in satisfaction.
"Good. Come here," he said. "Let me solidify your status as my concubines. That way, you'll gain certain freedoms under my protection."
Hearing this, both women blushed deeply, lowering their heads in embarrassment. Neither of them moved.
Hikaru sighed and shook his head. It seemed he would have to take the initiative.
Pouring them each a glass of red wine, he handed it over as they looked at him in surprise.
"Drink this, and from this moment on, you will be mine. Under my protection, you'll have nothing to fear."
Jessica and Cobat hesitated briefly before nodding. Then, without another word, they drank the wine.
Over the next few days, Hikaru infused all of Skypiea's lands with floating energy, allowing the entire island to move toward Water 7.
As the birthplace of the South Bird, Skypiea wouldn't lose its way despite the unpredictable magnetic forces of the Grand Line.
As for what would happen to future pirates—like Luffy—after he took control of Jaya and Skypiea? That wasn't his concern.
Once Skypiea left its original position, the surrounding magnetic fields would shift, naturally forming a new route. The Log Pose would still function, pointing sailors toward new islands.
Similarly, if Skypiea reached the New World, it would become part of the magnetic field there, directing Log Poses toward it.
After setting sail from Skypiea, Hikaru took some time to relax. During this period, Marianne fully embraced her role as a goddess.
Jessica, once a top chef in Marine Headquarters, was now his personal cook. She prepared meals for him and the concubines, ensuring they always dined on the finest dishes.
The next day, Hikaru rewarded Raki for her loyalty. She had been diligent in assisting Conis with managing Skypiea, so he decided to promote her—from a servant of the gods to an official consort.
At noon, Jessica prepared a grand feast using ingredients from Skypiea. She invited all the women to share in the delicious meal.
During the gathering, Hikaru reminded Nojiko to use the power of the Slip-Slip Fruit to assist the goddesses, particularly the newer ones who might need help adjusting.
Meanwhile, Nami had complete control over Skypiea's clouds. Hikaru instructed her to infuse them with additional energy, transforming a large number into floating clouds.
His people could then use Cloud Storage Shells to collect and store these floating clouds, allowing them to travel between the floating island and the world below with ease.
However, after a few days of leisure, Hikaru knew he couldn't continue like this. It was time to get back to business.
Hikaru extracted the Devil Fruit abilities from Robin, Hina, and Mikita, transferring them into ordinary fruits. Then, an idea struck him. Taking advantage of their temporary weakness after losing their powers, he used the special abilities of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to help them recover.
Something incredible happened—their weakness completely vanished!
This discovery might not seem useful right now, but in the future, whenever he plundered the abilities of prospective goddesses, he could use this technique to erase their weakness.
Satisfied with the results, Hikaru returned their Devil Fruit powers. Once they regained their abilities, they no longer feared the usual side effects of losing them.
A few days later, Skypiea crossed Long Ring Long Land and arrived above Water 7.
That morning, Hikaru was awakened by the Robins. After finishing his morning routine, the multiple Robins took turns feeding him from the table.
Robins? That's right!
The power of the Flower-Flower Fruit was limitless. Robin could make any part of her body bloom on any solid surface within her sight.
For example, she could grow hands on the table, create a mouth on her palm, or perform other bizarre feats. As long as she could imagine it, she could make it happen.
These duplicated body parts could be used for combat, eavesdropping, and even spying. However, Robin rarely used these abilities in front of Hikaru.
Since all duplicated parts were connected to her real body, any sensations they experienced were transmitted back to her.
After eliminating the usual Devil Fruit drawbacks, and under Hikaru's guidance, Robin's mastery of her powers advanced at an astonishing rate. She had essentially reached the level of skill she would have had two years after the Summit War of Marineford.
The Robins attending to Hikaru were clones she had created with her Devil Fruit. Meanwhile, the real Robin lounged in the distance, lazily reading a book while effortlessly controlling her duplicates.
"My god-husband~ We've arrived in Water 7~"
Robin's sultry tone sent a pleasant shiver through Hikaru.
"Hmm, when I return, I'll have a special gift for you," he said with a smirk.
"Oh? Then I suppose I have something to look forward to," she teased.
"Let's go. If we don't leave now, I'll miss today's 'banquet.'"
Robin chuckled, lightly patting his chest before helping him dress. Once he was ready, she gently pushed him out of the room.
With a flash of lightning, Hikaru vanished from sight and reappeared at the edge of Skypiea.
He spread his arms wide, relinquished control over his body, and dove headfirst toward the world below.
The roaring wind howled past his ears as he plummeted, faster and faster. A thrill of absolute freedom surged within him.
He recalled the moment he first arrived in Skypiea—the awe and excitement, the euphoria of gaining power, the intricate planning to capture the goddesses…
As long as he remained steady and advanced at his own pace, anything was possible.
Today, he would take a giant step forward—not just in capturing a new goddess but in his journey toward ultimate strength. Toward divinity. Toward immortality.
Closer and closer… The Door-Door Fruit awaited!
Bruno's Bar, Central Street, Water 7.
Behind the counter, Bruno methodically wiped a wine glass.
As a CP9 agent, he had spent years undercover in this city, waiting for an opportunity to steal the blueprints of Pluton from Iceburg.
Yet, three years had passed (or rather, five—Bruno wasn't exactly great at keeping track of time), and there was still no progress on his mission.
However, his bar? It had flourished. His profits had skyrocketed. At this rate, he was making more money here than what the World Government paid him.
Perhaps espionage wasn't so bad after all.
Character Notes:
Jessica: Hikaru's multi-talented personal chef. A queenly figure with a playful spirit—strong-willed but incredibly thoughtful.
Cobat: A skilled yet timid doctor. Friendly and gentle, but ironically terrified of blood. Often shy and flustered.
