Benjamin watched the man leave. Only when the man disappeared out of the main door did he turn to look at Allegra and say, "I am not against you buying jewellery, but you should at least wear it. What's the point of buying them when you are not even wearing them?"
"Just like you found the need to have another son when you already had one," Allegra sarcastically replied as she motioned for Lacy to leave. She turned to look at her husband, whose lips were twisted in a scowl. "What's the matter? Don't tell me that you have the heart to cheat on your dutiful wife, and yet you don't have the heart to hear the truth about your actions?"
"Is this what it is?" Benjamin asked, his voice spiking up a notch as he questioned his wife, "You are doing this because you are upset with me?"
