CHAPTER TWO
LOCATION UNKNOWN – DARK ROOM
A group of people in cult robes are gathered in a circle against an alter. A man (wearing a robe) stands on the alter and raises a green gem.
"Behold, I stand before you all with the sealed demon king Death".
Then the crowd yells. "All hail death".
"So, for us to harness the power of death we would need people capable of giving up their life to death". The man in the middle announces.
"Come forth if you are willing to risk it all".
A Tall and physically built man accompanied by a small and slender girl (Both wearing robes) walk out of the crowd and into the alter. So then, a little girl who looked like she was supposed to be in primary school steps up. Then a boy who was about Jack's age steps up. After that six more people approach the alter (all wearing robes, obviously).
"Yes your efforts shall not be in vain". The hooded man announces. "We are now one step closer to wiping the phoenix Country government out. We are the death spectre!"
DARVIS - ZA FAMILY HOUSE – LIVING ROOM
Teresa and Jack arrive at Teresa's family house at night and they are both welcomed by Teresa's sister, Eliza a pink pony tail.
Eliza spread her arms wind and hug both Teresa and Jack. "I really missed you."
"Yeah, I missed you too".
Eliza glares at Teresa with an oblivious expression. "Why did you bring this guy here?"
Infuriated at Eliza for treating him like a commoner, Jack Lashes out on Eliza. "Don't you know who I am, you peasant?"
"I don't."
Those words broke Jack's heart to pieces. Jack had always been popular by being a member of one of the three main tribes in the phoenix Country and the number one high school martial artist.
"Sis, so you actually brought a clown to cheer me up?"
"I am not a clown!!"
Jack zooms towards Eliza. but Teresa holds his shirt, prohibiting him to stop."
Teresa reaches into one of the bags she had kept on the sofa, earlier and pulls out a box of ice cream. "Look I bought your favourite, vanilla flavoured ice cream".
"I don't really want this" Eliza really wanted to spend some time with her sister because Teresa was rarely at home, she spent most of her summer break on missions.
Teresa stretches her arm around Jack who was sitting next to her and presses him to her body.
"Jack here will keep you company while you're on summer break."
Jack looks at Teresa with a confused look in his eyes. "What?"
"Yeah, you're going to be living here from now on."
"Don't be joking like that."
Teresa smiles and spanks Jack's back. "Of course I'm not."
"But...I can't live alone with a girl my age, something bad might happen."
Teresa smiles once again, with a devious grin. "I'm actually rooting for the both of you."
Both Jack and Eliza utter the word. "...Huh?"
"Or is she not your type? Do you like bustier girls?"
"Stop it, Sis."
Eliza starts blushing and tries to close Teresa's mouth shut with her hand and Teresa struggles to get Eliza's hand from her mouth.
"The both of you are so weird."
At that moment the two sisters who were struggling with each other suddenly sync up. "Shut up!!"
"Okay. But I am only doing it, because I want to." Jack says with a prideful look on his face.
"But, don't worry Eliza you can have him after tonight."
"Sis, where are you going?"
"I'm going to a farm. I just received a missions alert. And Jack, I want you to follow me. So I can show you some moves."
"Teresa, but you promised you would come back today."
"Sorry sis, but duty calls."
Jack crosses his legs and relaxes on Teresa's sofa.
"By the way, I am not interested. When you come back, we can start the training."
