Ryul turned his attention to the boy who stood frozen, stunned by what had happened. His wide eyes darted between Jihoon and the fountain, clearly unsure whether to run or cry.
A distressed woman could also be seen hurrying toward them, drawing the attention of several passersby at this point. She stopped a few steps away, looking mortified by what her son had done.
"I'm really sorry," she apologized, bowing politely. "I just took my eyes off him for only a second ..."
"Please be more careful in the future," Ryul responded a little sternly.
"It's alright," Jihoon chimed in quickly, deciding to let the matter go.
In the end, he just accepted the apology and waved off the situation instead of escalating it. The little crowd of curious onlookers soon began to lose interest as the tension dwindled and they scattered off, their whispers fading into the hum of the park.
