It was only a few steps.
Jihoon rang the doorbell of apartment 129 and didn't have to wait long for it to be opened. The man next door had understood the drill by now.
"Hey." Ryul greeted casually, stepping aside in silent invitation.
Jihoon stepped in, catching a glimpse of the familiar interior. "Were you in the middle of work, ajeossi?" he asked, noting the reading glasses perched on Ryul's nose.
"Yeah… A bit here and there." He muttered, making his way over to the sitting area, hands clearing out the materials lying on the table. "You can sit down."
Jihoon handed over the warm container that he had brought along, before settling down on the soft cushion. He glanced around the room and watching as the man went into the kitchen.
A few minutes passed before Ryul returned, carrying the container he had washed the previous day. And once again, he disappeared into his bedroom, reappearing moments later with a small box wrapped in simple paper.
