Richard Domango stepped through the doorway like he owned the oxygen in the room.
His dark hair was wind-tousled in just the right places, and the subtle shadow of stubble across his jaw only enhanced the impossible perfection of his face.
He paused just long enough to let the silence deepen before striding forward.
The guards instinctively took a step back.
"Richard…?" Sandra quickly called out but he didn't so much as glance at her or acknowledge the other people present in the room.
His eyes were only on Shantel and in the next heartbeat, he was beside her—snaking a possessive arm around her waist, drawing her close like she belonged to no one else.
Shantel stiffened the instant his warmth enveloped her, but she didn't pull away. "You're enjoying this too much," she murmured under her breath, barely moving her lips.
Richard leaned in, voice low, teasing, "Only when you're this close."
