After the day at the secret room, Genevieve started mingling with the maids more, and they appreciated her welcome. She realized she had missed a lot of events and promised to be more friendly with the people around her.
She had become a member of the advisory board and enjoyed the position. Edric would tease her most time, but she did not let that stop her from judging cases and punishing the offenders.
She was in her chamber making pearl necklaces with her maids a week after the feast when Isolde walked in. I beamed as I saw her.
"Hmm…are those for me?" She asked as she took her seat.
"The maids and I are just spending our free time doing something tangible." She retorted as her maids went out quickly.
"Well, I guess I have a boring hobby then."
"Boring? Reading books is not boring. It has been a long time since I even went to the library."
