"You should not stress yourself today," she replied.
"Well, I have to. I have to find the person who sent the assassin to attack my beautiful wife, we must find the person and punish them." Edric said firmly.
" I want to apologize, Edric."
Edric scanned her expression; she only calls him by his name whenever she's gloomy or wants to say something important.
"What is it?"
"I am sorry for the way I have made you feel all this while. You have been trying to balance both the kingdom's affairs and my depressed self. I know I have been overreacting all this while because of my baby so I want to start all over and apologize to you from my heart."
Edric mouth curved in a light smile.
"You don't have to do that; your depressed state recently is justifiable, so I am not angry at you. I am delighted to have you by my side again." He answered back warmly and embraced her.
"Thank you, Edric." She said as he patted her back gently.
