Chapter 133 - Excited Miku, Tohka Fleeing Once Again

"Miss Tohka, you really understand me so well. I'm willing to be your ox or horse. From now on, as long as your commissions come to me, I'll give you a 5% discount..."

Deadpool, having misunderstood Tohka's words, was now holding his head and crying, and he even offered what he thought was the best possible deal.

"A 5% discount is basically the same as the original price. Do you think someone like the eldest daughter of the Stark family would care about that little bit of money? Are you so obsessed with money that you can't think about anything else? Haven't you heard that with great power comes great responsibility?"

Watching Deadpool ramble on, Peter Parker finally couldn't take it anymore and started complaining.

"Young man, you can't say that."

At that moment, after hearing the little spider's comment, Deadpool threw his arm around Peter's shoulder and began chattering non-stop:

"You have to know, this lord here has always had great credibility and does what others don't dare to do. Normally, I give people a 20% markup. But since Miss Tohka thinks so highly of me, I..."

"You guys go ahead and chat, I'll leave first. Miku is waiting for me at home. Sorry."

Seeing Deadpool suddenly clinging to a Peter who wasn't even in costume, Tohka knew this was the perfect opportunity, so she stood up and bolted while she could.

"Uh, sorry, my mom told me to go home and bring in the laundry."

"Um, my family wants me home to do homework."

"I..."

Not only Tohka, but even White Tiger and the others also seized the chance and escaped.

"Hey, you guys, you guys..."

Peter looked dumbfounded at the ones slipping away like greased lightning, wanting to break free but not daring to. He realized Deadpool was surprisingly strong, and forcefully struggling might attract even more attention from the guy.

"Listen, kid, back in my day, I was…"

Deadpool didn't care at all about the people leaving, hugging Spider-Man tightly and starting his endless chatter. No one knew why he suddenly felt so talkative today.

Meanwhile, poor Peter was cursing everyone involved in his mind and even wanted to slap himself—serves you right for having such a big mouth. And he knew if this guy got interested in him, his peaceful days would be over.

He really didn't want this guy coming over now and then to talk about life.

"Poor little Spidey, good luck to him."

Once she was out of the store and far from that guy, Tohka thought of poor Peter being hugged by Deadpool. She knew he probably wouldn't be able to escape any time soon. But so, what? Better him than her, she felt no pressure—on the contrary, she kind of wanted to laugh.

"Tohka, I've got it all figured out. Now I just need your help. Without you, my permissions aren't high enough, so I can't send emails under your name."

As soon as she entered the room, Miku excitedly ran over to her.

"Huh? Can't? Jarvis, didn't I tell you to listen to her?" Tohka frowned after hearing Miku's words, then looked over at Jarvis.

"Apologies, Miss Tohka. Currently, only Mr. Tony has that level of authorization." At that moment, Jarvis's voice also chimed in.

"Uh, alright then." Hearing this, Tohka didn't say much—after all, Jarvis did belong to Tony. Even if she had verbally authorized Miku, only Tony could actually grant access.

"Okay, leave it to me." With no other choice, Tohka walked over to the computer and sent out invitations based on Miku's list.

"All sent. Now we just wait for their replies." After glancing at the list in front of her, Tohka turned to Miku and gave her an update.

"Wait, don't go yet. Let's hang on a little longer. You might need to talk to them." Just as Tohka was about to leave, Miku grabbed her and pushed her down into the seat.

"That's not possible. These people all have their own lives, it's not like—" Okay, Tohka didn't even finish her sentence before she got slapped in the face by reality. Those people replied at lightning speed. Then again, it made sense—Tony never waited on anyone, people always waited on him.

"Aiyaa, you really don't know your own status, do you?" Smiling as she looked at the stunned Tohka, Miku found her incredibly endearing like this. She even wanted to kiss her right then and there. But she held back—if Tohka got embarrassed and ran away again, she'd lose everything.

After all, in this world, Miku had no real influence. Those people wouldn't pay her any attention unless she used her powers. But doing that would be a pain, she'd have to track each of them down one by one.

"According to my research, that Iron Man Tony is always surrounded wherever he goes. After all, he's backed by the Stark Group. And you're part of that. In the entertainment industry, basically everyone owes you a favor—that's why they replied so fast." After explaining this, Miku excitedly opened the emails Tohka had received: "This one, and this one, and this one—this went so well! Almost everyone replied in the shortest amount of time. Perfect, now send them replies and arrange a meeting spot."

"Uh, alright." Hearing Miku's request, Tohka followed instructions and began typing. But soon she couldn't help but comment: "Isn't this gender discrimination? They're all girls—there's not even one guy."

"Hmph, what's so great about those stinky men? They make me sick just looking at them. It's way better with only girls." Hearing Tohka's complaint, Miku waved her hand dismissively in disgust: "None of them are as cute as you, Tohka. Come here and let me give you a kiss."

It was obvious that the previous incident had left Miku wary of men—well, especially those working in this industry.

But before she even finished speaking, Miku hugged Tohka and gave her another smooch.

"You, you, you..." Yup, Tohka's face turned beet red again. But this time, she didn't run away.

"Aiyaa, little Tohka's gotten bolder again. So, how about a kiss on the lips thi—uh, she ran again."

Yup, Tohka had once again underestimated Miku's shamelessness. Upon hearing that line, she bolted out the door once more, leaving Miku laughing like a silver bell alone in the room.
