"Let me check. J.A.R.V.I.S., show me how much access Tony gave me."
Hearing Miku Izayoi's suggestion, Tohka called for J.A.R.V.I.S. Even though she'd moved out, she had asked Tony for a compact version of his tech system to install at home—it was just too convenient not to have.
"Understood, Miss."
A massive 3D projection suddenly appeared in front of the two girls.
"What's this… publicity channels? And this… is a list of musicians affiliated with Stark Industries. And… seriously, what is all this?"
Tohka frowned at the floating screen. She had no real concept of any of it. But Miku Izayoi, coming from a music background, immediately locked in on her targets.
"This one, and this one, and also this one. Tohka, send them invitation letters in your name. With your backing, they'll definitely agree. Leave the rest to me. I seriously didn't expect Tony to have this much pull."
Miku's eyes gleamed as she scanned the list—her ideal production team was on it. She'd been wondering how to get in touch with them, and now the opportunity had dropped right into her lap.
"Uhh… I don't really have any connection with them. You really think they'll listen to me?"
Tohka looked at Miku, a bit skeptical. She didn't think she had that kind of influence.
"Oh, come on, don't overthink it. They'll be more than happy to come. You can send the invitations under the Stark family name. With that stamp, people will line up to work with you. So don't worry about it."
Miku chuckled. Tohka had no idea just how powerful the Stark name was. Stark Industries was a near-unstoppable financial juggernaut, and in America, wealth translated directly into power and influence. But Tohka herself didn't care much for that kind of thing.
"Alright, I'll leave it to you then. I'll send the emails right away. You handle everything else… oh, wait—Tony also gave me access to one of his venues."
Tohka suddenly discovered that she had access to the same venue Tony had made his flashy entrance in during Iron Man 2—Stark Industries' flagship presentation arena. Since there hadn't been any new products recently, it was free for her to use anytime.
"That's amazing! We've got the people, we've got the venue—now it's all up to me. Tohka, you really are my lucky star!"
Overjoyed, Miku jumped up and suddenly hugged Tohka tightly, planting a kiss right on her cheek.
"W-wait, what are you doing? I-I… um… uh…"
Tohka hadn't expected that at all. She flinched in shock and covered her face, but deep down, she was secretly delighted.
"Mm, you're just too cute, Tohka."
Miku looked at the blushing Tohka with satisfaction before turning her attention back to the screen. Since Tohka wouldn't be involved in the details, she began drafting a schedule for herself.
"…Why did I react like that?"
After fleeing the room, Tohka wondered why she'd been so flustered. Being kissed by a girl should've been fun, right? Unable to make sense of it, she decided to go out for a walk—especially since it was the weekend and she had nothing else to do. Miku was probably busy planning everything now, so Tohka didn't want to bother her.
"Mmm, what a peaceful day…"
Tohka muttered as she sat in a shop by the street—just in time to jinx it.
Boom!
An explosion echoed in the distance, immediately slapping her in the face with irony. Screams and panic followed, and people started pouring into the store, trying to escape from something.
"What the hell now… Can't those bastards wait five more minutes?"
Tohka's cheeks burned as she stomped outside in frustration, wanting to see who had just shattered her calm.
But as soon as she saw them, she backed off. Two beefy guys in skintight suits were going at it in the street—one red and blue, the other red and black. For the sake of her eardrums, Tohka immediately turned and went back into the shop. Nope. Not worth it. She had no idea what she'd do if those two clowns noticed her.
"Whew, mission complete."
Just then, a group of four walked in, chatting and laughing. They spotted Tohka calmly sipping a drink.
"Well well, isn't that Miss Tohka?"
The four of them came over and sat down at her table.
"Oh, it's you guys. Already recovered? Especially you, bucket-head—say one more dumb thing and I'll stitch your mouth shut."
It was the group she had mercilessly blasted yesterday. She wasn't about to let bucket-head off easy either.
"Phew, no Miku Izayoi around. That's a relief."
They glanced around, confirming Tohka was alone before visibly relaxing.
"Really, though? Aside from this loudmouth, she didn't even touch anyone else."
Tohka rolled her eyes. She'd gone all out on them yesterday, and they still weren't scared of her? Yet they were terrified of the one who actually finished them—Miku.
"You don't get it—she couldn't control you, so of course it didn't bother you."
Nova looked grumpy as he replied, "I'd rather take another beating from you than be mind-controlled again. That feeling was the absolute worst."
The others nodded in agreement. Clearly, they all shared the same opinion.
"Eh… fair enough."
Tohka didn't argue. After all, just look at how much politicians feared Professor X. She quickly changed the subject. "So… what's going on with Peter Parker? Why was he fighting with that guy?"
