Synopsis
At just four years old, Ryosuke Hyuga trains relentlessly in the Hyuga clan courtyard, sweat dripping from his brow and determination burning in his eyes. Once a member of the oppressed branch family, Ryosuke was destined for the curse seal and a lifetime of servitude to the main family. But fate had other plans. Reborn into the world of Naruto, Ryosuke awakened the Byakugan at birth — a feat unheard of even among the Hyuga. With his rapidly advancing eye techniques and innate talent, the clan hails him as a once-in-a-generation prodigy. Hyuga Hiashi, the clan head who temporarily adopted him, watches his progress closely. The moment news arrives of his newborn daughter's birth, Hiashi makes a shocking declaration: “From this day forward, you are the future husband of my daughter, Hinata. You will marry into the Hyuga main family.” No cursed seal. No servitude. Ryosuke will rise — not as a pawn, but as the shadow behind the Hyuga's future.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Hinata

Chapter 1: Hinata

The sun blazed overhead, and the sound of cicadas filled the air.

In the middle of a traditional and luxurious Japanese-style garden, a young boy—around four or five years old—stood firmly in a horse stance. His small fists repeatedly punched through the air with sharp precision, each strike causing a muffled thump as it sliced through the stillness.

His appearance was striking. His skin was pale, almost bluish in tone, and faintly translucent under the sunlight. His hair shared the same bluish-white hue, giving him an otherworldly look. But the most captivating feature was his eyes—bluish-white pupils that, at first glance, could be unsettling, but when paired with his youthful, handsome features, they held a strange kind of charm and elegance.

Huff—

Heavy breaths escaped from his nose, and sweat dripped freely from his chin, soaking the ground beneath his feet.

This was the Hyuga clan's territory—one of Konoha's most powerful families. More specifically, this was the estate of the Hyuga main family.

And the boy in the yard? He wasn't a member of the main family by birth.

His name was Hyuga Ryosuke, a member of the branch family. But thanks to his extraordinary talent—and a rather unconventional situation—he had married into the main family. He was now the son-in-law of Hyuga Hiashi, the clan head.

In other words, Ryosuke had become the child husband of the clan's eldest daughter, Hinata Hyuga.

"Ryosuke-kun…"

A soft voice broke the rhythm of his punches as a sliding door creaked open behind him.

A small girl with the same pale eyes stood nervously on the wooden porch, holding a tray of neatly sliced watermelon. Her steps were careful, almost hesitant, as if she wasn't sure whether to approach or stay back. She wanted to say something—but hesitated.

Ryosuke paused his training and turned to her with a warm expression. "Do you… want me to take a break?"

"Um…" Hinata nodded quickly, grateful that he understood her without her needing to say it. "Father said… you're still young. Your body's still developing. You shouldn't overtrain."

"I know, I know," Ryosuke chuckled, a little amused by her concern.

He walked over and sat beside her on the porch, accepting the break. "Thanks…"

Hinata blushed as she handed him a slice of watermelon. Ryosuke accepted it with a small smile.

The timid girl in front of him—his fiancée and the heir of the Hyuga clan—was nothing like what you'd expect from a noble daughter. She was soft-spoken, anxious, and often unsure of herself. Her gentle nature and lack of ninja talent had led to constant disappointment from her father, Hiashi.

But none of this was surprising to Ryosuke. He already knew why she acted this way.

Because Ryosuke… wasn't really from this world.

Beneath his childlike appearance was the mind of an adult. He was a reincarnator, someone who had traveled from another world—a world where this place, this village, and even this clan existed only in a manga. A fictional story.

But in that story, Hinata Ryosuke had never existed.

He was a stranger, an anomaly.

"Ryosuke-kun…"

Hinata's voice called out again. She looked flustered. Her pale cheeks were tinged with pink.

It seemed Ryosuke had been staring at her a little too long.

"Ah, sorry," he said quickly, flashing a playful grin. "It's just… little Hinata looks so cute, I couldn't help it."

"Mm…" Hinata's lips parted as if to say something, but she faltered. She looked down, fiddling with the edge of her sleeves, trying to find the right words. "I… I actually…"

Whatever she wanted to say, it stayed stuck in her throat. She just couldn't say it.

This was probably the first time someone her age had ever praised her. In the village, the other children always teased her—especially because of her appearance and those unique eyes.

Ryosuke watched her quietly, then said, "But Hinata… there's something I've always been curious about."

He leaned back slightly, resting his free hand on her head and gently brushing her soft hair.

"Do you know what the word husband means? Do you know what kind of relationship exists between you and me?"

His tone was light, warm, and teasing—but also sincere.

Feeling the warmth of his hand gently caressing her head, Hinata murmured dazedly, "Father... Father said I'm your wife, and I have to listen to you. I should always stay by your side."

Without realizing it, she scooted closer to Ryosuke so his hand wouldn't have to stretch so far.

"It seems like little Hinata doesn't really understand what being my wife means," Ryosuke said with a helpless smile. Her response wasn't unexpected, but it still made him sigh inwardly. "When you do understand someday, you'll have to explain it back to me, okay?"

"Okay…" came the soft reply, almost like a whisper, her voice airy and uncertain. It wasn't clear whether she truly understood what he said, but she nodded anyway.

The two sat together in silence.

After finishing the piece of watermelon in his hand, Ryosuke withdrew his palm from her hair. Hinata looked slightly lost, her eyes lingering where his hand had been.

"Hinata, can you go ask your father to come see me? I have something to discuss with him."

"Father…?" she repeated softly, hesitating at the mention of him. But she still nodded obediently and stood up.

The man Ryosuke was referring to, of course, was Hyuga Hiashi, head of the Hyuga clan.

Originally, Ryosuke was born into the branch family—a side lineage meant to serve and protect the main family. By tradition, that meant he should've been branded with the Caged Bird Seal, a mark that ensured obedience and subordination.

But things had gone differently for him.

Thanks to a unique power he possessed, Ryosuke had shown incredible talent from a young age. From the moment he was born, his Byakugan awakened with purity and strength surpassing even those of the main family.

After his mother passed away, Hiashi adopted him. Not long after the birth of Hiashi's second daughter, Ryosuke was named her future husband. From then on, his identity shifted—from an orphan of the branch family to the chosen man of the Hyuga heir, the one who might one day lead the clan.

As Hinata disappeared into the house, the courtyard fell quiet again.

Ryosuke didn't return to training. Instead, he let his chakra flow, activating his Byakugan. The veins near his temples bulged as the familiar clarity washed over his vision. With precise control, he scanned the nearby buildings of the Hyuga compound, checking for prying eyes.

Satisfied that no one was watching, he deactivated his dojutsu and refocused inward.

"Still only about one-third…?" he muttered to himself. "No change from last week. Looks like the duration or intensity of training has nothing to do with it."

In his mind, he could see it—an invisible progress bar. That strange gauge was his biggest secret, and the source of his growing strength.

The "progress bar" wasn't something he was born with—at least not in this world. It came with him when he reincarnated into the Naruto universe. It didn't come with instructions or any obvious rules. All he could do was experiment.

He'd tried everything: over-eating, long training sessions, chakra exhaustion, even weird ideas like standing in the sun for "photosynthesis." Nothing consistently pushed the bar forward. He'd been focusing on training lately, but it hadn't made a difference.

So… was the bar just time-based?

That was the current theory. He didn't have concrete proof yet, but over the four years since his reincarnation, the progress bar had only ever reached 100% once.

When it did, something amazing happened.

His body… evolved. It was like a shackle had been broken, a limiter removed. His bloodline, once inferior due to his branch status, had surpassed even that of the main family. His Byakugan transformed—purer, sharper, and fundamentally different from anything the clan had ever seen.

Even his appearance changed. His pale skin, bluish-white hair, and faintly glowing eyes hinted at something beyond human.

Ryosuke knew what it meant.

His power wasn't just Hyuga blood.

It was Otsutsuki blood.

The Hyuga clan had always been rumored to be descended from the Otsutsuki—a powerful celestial clan that had seeded chakra into the world. Their dojutsu, the Byakugan, was proof of that legacy. But in modern times, that power had dulled, diluted through generations.
