Michael woke up feeling better than ever today; he would be discharged soon because his body had stabilized quite well in a short period of time. Layla had shared with him the recent discovery.
"I'm honored to meet your new self," Michael remarked, and Komachi let out a chuckle. However, two persons weren't that happy, considering they were missing their loved ones.
Mona distanced herself from them, and so did James. She had no idea where her son could be, and she felt a bit skeptical about interfering with Komachi and Layla, considering they had just had a reconciliation.
"I guess we're both in the same situation." James's sudden voice alerted her. He came to stand beside her, resting his hands on the railings of the balcony.
Mona sighed but didn't say a word; she was too engrossed in thinking about ways to seek her son Luke. Similar was the case with James, whose hope of finding Jenny was dimming with each passing day.
