Chapter 348 - Chapter 348: Persephone’s Uniqueness! The Natural Goddess with the Potential of a God-King!

Gods.

In essence, they are selfish beings, extremely self-centered. Can you expect them to abandon their thoughts simply because of a few words of persuasion?

Obviously not!

This is absolutely impossible, especially for a rational god like Hades. It's simply unthinkable. Every decision Hades makes, even those that seem risky, is based on rational judgment. After careful consideration, he concludes that it is the right choice.

Because of this, do you think Hades would ever admit he was wrong? Clearly not! Given that such a scenario is impossible, the results that follow are naturally self-evident.

In simple terms: if I don't believe I'm wrong, why would I choose to retreat? Could it be that simple? Clearly, that's not the case. This is the core issue, and it is central to everything.

Beyond these core questions, what about everything else? Some matters are simply too complex to predict.

Now, Hades had gained clarity on everything. Naturally, this was the best result. It was also the most important outcome. Being able to see through everything and recognize the truth was what allowed him to fully emerge from his struggles.

Erebus and Nyx, the Ancient God couple, were overjoyed. They had been eagerly awaiting this moment. Now that Hades had truly seen through everything, it wasn't the happiest thing in the world for them, but it was close enough.

After all, from every angle, for this Ancient God couple who had gone all-in on Hades, his ability to see the problem, break through his limitations, and understand the issue was the most critical thing!

Nyx smiled warmly and said, "Hades, no matter what, breaking through this barrier is the best result for you. After recognizing the constraints within your heart, the path ahead will be much wider."

Nyx's expression was full of kindness and warmth. She was truly happy.

How to put it…

For Nyx, she had practically watched Hades grow up before her eyes. Because of this, she almost regarded Hades as her own child.

Of course, these words couldn't be spoken aloud in most cases, but deep in her heart, that was indeed how Nyx felt.

Hades nodded calmly and said, "Some issues can only be resolved when I see them myself. Anything else—words from others—are completely meaningless."

Hades knew this well. He had come to understand where the problem lay. Looking back, it seemed that his previous self had been too insistent and entangled in certain matters.

But!

Some things are just like that—unless you personally experience them, you can't necessarily see through them. Hades had been in such a situation, unable to see clearly.

Now.

Having emerged from that fog, everything was different. Naturally, this made Nyx even more pleased.

"Husband."

"Erebus."

"Nyx."

At that moment, an elegant, mature voice echoed as Persephone, dressed in a black gown and holding the scepter of the Queen of the Underworld, approached step by step. A graceful and dignified smile played on her lips, showcasing her perfection and maturity.

Erebus and Nyx looked at Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld, with a sense of reflection.

As Ancient Gods, this couple knew many things. According to the original myth, Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld, should have been the daughter of Zeus and Demeter.

However!

Because of Hades' unique situation, Persephone had undergone some changes. This was perfectly normal. Simply put, Persephone was always destined to be the Queen of the Underworld.

She would forever be Persephone, Queen of the Underworld. This was an unchangeable fact. No matter how Persephone came into existence, she was always meant to be the Queen. This was fate, and this was the core truth.

From any perspective, this was the fundamental core. It would never change.

However!

Since Hades had changed, it was natural that Persephone had also undergone changes. Could she still have been born the same way as in the original myth?

Clearly not.

Persephone's existence was intrinsically linked to Hades.

Hades, the King of the Underworld!

Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld!

No matter how they came into being, their status and roles remained unaltered. As Hades transformed, so too did Persephone's identity rise accordingly, meaning that she was now born from the very essence of the Mythical World.

In a way, Persephone could be considered a natural goddess.

It's worth noting: why are the oldest gods called Ancient Gods, while those like Cronus are called Titans, and those like Hades are called New Gods?

The reason is simple. Ancient Gods are essentially natural gods—beings born from nature itself. The Titan gods like Cronus, or New Gods like Hades, were born from the previous generation of gods.

This is the core difference, but Persephone is different. Her birth is similar to that of a natural god due to Hades' power and status.

Persephone could even be considered a natural goddess with the potential to rival a God-King. This is her uniqueness. In other words, the current Persephone, the Queen of the Underworld, possesses truly astonishing and unimaginable potential. Her future is bound to be limitless.
