"Whether it's humans or gods, this path must always be walked with time. No one can guarantee they won't stray from their course; they can only move forward step by step," Hades reflected deeply at this moment, filled with many thoughts.
All along, Hades believed his path was absolutely firm—power and strength were his goals. Whether it was faith, laws, or his divine kingdom, he always thought these were the foundations of the path he walked.
However!
As time passed, Hades began to realize he had gradually fallen into a state of obsession. The World Tree had led him into this fixation.
This was not a good thing. For any god, being stuck in an obsessive state was dangerous. Even more so for Hades himself. His path had already veered off course, and it would take a long time to correct it.
Fortunately!
Although Hades had become mentally fixated, his path hadn't strayed too far. Once his mindset returned to balance, everything would become much simpler.
The Lord of the Underworld!
The Underworld!
None of this had ever changed, nor could it ever change.
"I am Hades. I am the Lord of the Underworld. This is my essence, my foundation. If my foundation were to change, I would be destroying myself," Hades spoke softly but with deep conviction. Yes! This was the core truth—he was the Lord of the Underworld! He was Hades! If one day, he changed all of that and altered his foundation...
Would that really be a good thing? No! No! It would be an enormous disaster, especially for Hades. This was self-evident.
Hades was the Lord of the Underworld, born to govern the Underworld. What did this mean? It meant the laws he commanded were intrinsic to him. Whether or not they were granted by the mythic world didn't matter.
The key lay in this: Hades had once considered replacing the Underworld with the World Tree, making the entire Underworld a part of the grand mythic world.
But no!
No!
If Hades really did that, he would be abandoning his foundation. If that were to happen, the consequences would be disastrous. The outcome was obvious.
Hades understood this very clearly. The issue at hand was far too complex to be resolved with just a few words.
The Underworld!
It could be enhanced by the World Tree, and everything else didn't need to change. But the core of the Underworld must always remain the Underworld. This was indisputable. Whether it was the star realm already created, or the possible future realms like the sea realm, the surface realm, or the celestial realm, all of these existed to support the Underworld's development. Everything revolved around the Underworld, and this was the most essential point—absolute and unchanging!
Remember this!
No matter the situation, these core principles would never change. In other words, if Hades ever tried to alter them himself, it would be the greatest source of despair and frustration.
This is the fundamental core!
No matter when or where, the core remains the same. Nothing about it would change. Ever! This is absolutely immutable.
Hades could never alter his foundation. Doing so would be akin to undoing all of his efforts and starting over from scratch. If Hades really did that, it would be the most absurd thing imaginable!
"It truly gives one a completely different feeling," Hades mused with a hint of emotion, shaking his head as he spoke no more. There was no need to dwell on it further.
He had found clarity within himself, and that was the most important thing.
In reality, on a deeper level...
Hades did indeed face some internal challenges. However! It was more of a mental issue. When one's mindset changes, the problem disappears. That was the case here—now that Hades had regained his confidence and changed his outlook, everything else would naturally fall into place.
So...
Naturally!
Everything would resolve itself, and this was the core issue.
As for anything else?
Well...
Actually!
Whether it was Hades, Poseidon, or Zeus—these three God-Kings, or for that matter, any God-King—each one played a role in prompting the transition or evolution of the mythic world.
However!
They also had their own paths and their own origins. This was the gift and essence of the mythic world.
Whether it was Hades as the Lord of the Underworld, Poseidon as the Sea Emperor, or Zeus as the Sky King, they each had their intrinsic roles. These roles were the essence given to them by the mythic world, and this essence was their foundation and core.
Absolute Gods!
Every Absolute God was a creator of vast mythic worlds. They could be called Creator Gods or Chaos Gods. But why were there still divisions among them?
The Chaos Absolute God: Chaos.
The Time Absolute God: Saturn.
Why were they distinguished in this way?
It's simple!
Each Absolute God had their own core essence. Though they were all called Absolute Gods, they still had their distinct foundations. And this foundation was the most important thing. If they abandoned their core, what would be the point?
Clearly!
This is self-evident. It's the ultimate core truth. Only by maintaining this can one remain true to themselves, and this is absolutely essential.
This is absolutely, without a doubt, the undeniable truth!
And the same applies to Hades. He possesses the essence of the Lord of the Underworld, the core of the Underworld. If he were to abandon all of that, what would that mean? The consequences are obvious!
If you abandon your own core, how do you expect to move forward in the future? It's simply impossible! It's completely unrealistic. This is the fundamental truth!
