The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams. A good adventure consist of clear goals and motivations, uncertainty and risk, overcoming obstacles, exploration and discovery, personal growth and transformation, sensory details and immersion, emotional connection and resonance, a sense of urgency and consequences, unpredictable twists and turns, and a satisfying conclusion.
I would like to think that my life is an adventure. One where I don't know where the destination is. The school holidays were a mix of emotions. I was happy to be home but at the same time it was very stressful. But it was still home. I unfortunately didn't go to the farm because my mom said I should spend more time at home and from now on I will be going home every weekend. I couldn't argue so it's final.
School reopened the previous week and to say this isn't my favourite term would be an understatement. Not only has it started off in a bad way but it shows that noting will be to my liking. This term has a few things like netball, rugby, culture and most parties. There will be plenty of assignments that will occupy me throughout the entire term that will only fuel my disdain for the second term.
Though the first term seems long, if goes by faster than one can blink. It's been a month since me and Sean agreed to be friends with benefits. But unfortunately we haven't talked since that day. We see and pass each other in the corridor but we never talk. It is as if nothing happened and as if we don't know each other. I am super pissed because after the whole promise, he never even looked at me.
Days and weeks after the school reopened scandals upon scandals of him and his flings continued to come out but that was the least of my problems. Me and Nelly drifted apart a bit. We barely talk and Regina is now officially friends with Perseverance. Honestly I am happy for her. But at the end of the day. She is really close with Karen. I still cant believe that there is a Karen in our school.
But that's none of my problems right now. I have to get ready for a party that Samantha forced me to go to. It's a school party so I kind of gave in after a whole hour of her bothering me with a lot of questions on why I didn't want to go there.
Like ever heard of something something that I don't know? One of the reason why I don't like literature. It has a lot of saying that one must memorize.
Samantha is really chubby. I wouldn't say she is fat or anything. Her body shape is above average. A huge bust and a flat posterior. A medium sized belly. But she is still confident in it.
I don't have anything to wear for tonight's party, but I will just wear anything that makes me comfortable.
*Later that day*
This is one of the most boring parties I have ever been to. Well, it's technically the first party I have attended in my whole entire life. Everyone from the girls hostel even came to this stupid party.
Zoey, one of my class mates, and her friends are busy drinking. Apparently Sean is already drunk and a few other people are on in the fun of alcohol. Its really typical of them because apparently they drink very time they get the opportunity.
Regina is on and off the dance circle they opened and Perseverance is being the camera woman she is.
I would really love to have a taste of alcohol because I wanna know how it tastes. I wouldn't ask Nelly cause we aren't that close as we were.
Over the holidays I had taken the time to think about the whole thing that happened in the cafeteria. I will not really become friends with people who are more than ready to turn their back on me and mock me about the choices I make. Real friends will support you through anything, even if it means letting you get hurt before advising you
After all, w learn from our mistakes. I decided to distance myself from her and become my own person.
I wouldn't ask Sean cause he will definitely disagree. Something about him ghosting me made me think that he won't agree to give me alcohol. So maybe I should ask Gorge. Plus I saw him going up and down. Talking to a lot of people about a lot of things.
This ought to be a long night.
