"CRASH... THUD!" The six of them descended, landing in the midst of the busy people working inside the warehouse. Two guards in black safari uniforms immediately stepped forward, pointing their machine guns. Five more guards also approached the first two. Thick dust from the crumbling roof obscured their vision.
"Who's there?" a guard asked.
"Grrrrrrh..." a tiger's growl was heard.
"B-boss... t-tiger... there's a tiger..." a guard stammered, stepping back.
"Who's a tiger?" a head on the retreating guard's shoulder asked.
"Waaaaaaa ghost!" the guard screamed.
"Rude," Fani retorted, pulling her head back into the dust.
"Sh-shoot!"
All the guards fired into the thick dust in front of them relentlessly. A hail of bullets was unavoidable; the guards saw their shots hitting something in the dusty mist.
"Stop! Hold your fire!" a guard shouted.
The firing ceased. The guards moved forward, but their steps halted as the dust cleared, revealing six figures standing before them: a skeletal figure in a hooded black jacket carrying sickles, a white-horned and masked ghost, a large muscular tiger-man, a girl without a philtrum and with wild blue eyes, a large red-eyed bat-winged human, and a pale-skinned girl with her head spinning above her body.
"Ghoooost...many of them !" a worker screamed.
Immediately, the workers scattered, but Alex quickly leaped to block the exit. "Where do you think you're going, huh?" he growled in a terrifying voice.
"Wuaaaaaaaa!"
The workers ran around the warehouse, looking for places to hide, while many of the guards fell in fear, and some just ran. Indra and Nara immediately leaped towards the guards, who instantly fainted as they approached and fled in disarray. Diaz flew inside the warehouse, "Whoosh!" A loud sound from his flapping wings made the guards run even faster.
"What's going on?!" the stout man who had met the police earlier shouted.
Without delay, Amanda immediately stood in front of him, with Fani directly behind her, resting her chin on the man's shoulder. Of course, the man immediately fell to his knees, so terrified that he wet his pants.
"You're the boss, right?" Amanda asked, her voice mixed with Shin's.
"N-no... the boss is in Priok..." the man replied, terrified.
"Address?" Amanda asked.
"I-I... don't... know..." the man replied.
"Are you sure?" Fani's head, now in front of his face, asked directly, extending her long tongue.
"Gh-ghooost..."
"Thud!" The man fainted, foaming at the mouth and no longer moving. Amanda shook her head.
"Ugh, Fan, next time, wait for him to speak before you do that..." Amanda said.
"Hehehe, sorry... habit..." Fani replied.
"Hey! Everyone's out cold now!" Indra shouted in a terrifying voice.
"Alright, let's go back," Amanda replied.
"Is that all? Are we not burning these goods?" Diaz asked.
"Just leave them. But how do we get the police here?" Amanda muttered.
"I have an idea... Lex, come with me for a bit," Nara invited.
"Where are you going?" Alex asked.
"Call those police officers from earlier," Nara replied.
Alex immediately transformed into a large tiger, and Nara rode on him. Then Nara opened the spirit world and entered, taking Alex with her. They exited the warehouse and chased after the police, who surely hadn't gone far from the warehouse. After a turn, Nara's guess was right: the police car was still on that road. Alex ran within Nara's realm, allowing them to catch up to the police car. Then they emerged directly in front of the police car.
"Watch out!" the police shouted, braking abruptly.
"CRASH!" Alex, now transformed into his tiger-human form, held the police car to a stop. Nara sat on Alex's shoulder.
"Take them into my realm, okay?" Nara replied.
She immediately opened her realm, and with Alex carrying the police car, they entered. As soon as they reached the front of the warehouse, they exited, and Alex placed the police car back in front of the warehouse. Then Alex transformed into a large tiger, and Nara leaped onto his back. After that, they flew upwards.
"W-what was that?" a police officer stammered.
"I-I don't know... l-let's try going into this warehouse first... the door's open..." the police officer replied, his hands unable to let go of the steering wheel.
Finally, with trembling legs, the two police officers entered the warehouse, while Amanda, flying on Shin, Alex ridden by Nara, Indra, Diaz, and Fani were already hovering in the air, watching the police enter. Not long after, a police officer came out and returned to the car to call for backup. After a while, hearing the sound of sirens, the six of them immediately flew back to their boarding house.
Upon returning to the boarding house, the six of them gathered in the living room and sat on the couch.
"Not fun at all !" all six shouted.
"Being alone is better," Indra said.
"Agreed," Diaz added.
"Same, I'm used to being alone too," Alex added.
"Hehehe... didn't feel anything, huh?" Fani added.
"No tension at all. When it's just Shin and me, there's a certain thrill," Amanda added.
"Aww, come on, don't say that! You guys can fly, I can't fly..." Nara countered.
"Exactly! Why am I being used as a mount? I'm a tiger, not a horse," Alex retorted.
"How can you not? You can use your mandau to fly, you did it when you fought me this afternoon... try to think a little," Indra added.
"Oh, you're right... let me try..." Nara replied.
Nara stood up, then threw both her mandau into the air and controlled them with her fingers, making them float silently in the air. Nara jumped onto the hilts of both her mandau and began moving her fingers. She started to float, spinning in the air, riding her mandau.
"Hooray, I can do it!" Nara cheered excitedly.
She immediately jumped and fell onto Alex's lap. Her two mandau returned to their sheaths at her waist, passing through Alex's body so that Alex couldn't move to avoid being hit. After Nara's mandau returned to their sheaths,
"Then why did you land here? It's spacious over there..." Alex said, pointing to Nara's previous seat.
"You're soft, hehehe," Nara replied.
"You're crazy! What if your mandau hit me?" Alex retorted.
"Hahahaha, you two are really affectionate," Diaz laughed.
"Hehehehe, yeah..." Fani added.
"So Fani... why is your head on my shoulder? My neck feels ticklish from your hair," Diaz asked.
"Oops... forgot... hehehe," Fani replied, her head immediately returning to her body.
"Hey, pity us the single people, you guys are hopeless," Indra countered.
"Everyone here's single, man..." Diaz replied.
"Really? From what I see, only I'm single. You and Fani, Alex and Nara, Amanda and Shin... but me?" Indra asked.
"Don't be rude, Shin and I aren't like that," Amanda said loudly.
"Same, we're not like that either," Alex, Nara, Diaz, and Fani added in unison.
"Alright, I'm going to sleep... I'm very sleepy..." Indra replied, standing up.
"Going online?" Alex asked.
"Yup," Indra replied.
"Go to sleep, you demon!" Alex retorted.
"Wow, seriously. Said you're going to bed but going online instead. That's so lame," Diaz countered.
"Heh... Ok, yeah, I'll sit back down," Indra replied.
Finally, Indra sat back down, and the six of them burst into laughter, continuing their conversation until they eventually went online together and fell asleep together in the living room without realizing it.
