The Day My Dream Shattered

Chapter 1: Graduation

Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life — my graduation day.

I left home feeling proud. Confident. After years of struggle, I had made it. My mother smiled at me in the morning. My sister hugged me. Everything felt like a dream finally coming true.

I reached the college campus with hope in my heart.

But that hope didn't last.

Suddenly, everything changed. Screams broke the calm. Loud, panicked voices echoed across the building. I sat in the classroom, trying to focus on the final lecture. But the noise grew louder. Then we heard it — a strange, inhuman sound, like something out of a nightmare.

We rushed to the windows.

Far off, near the main gate, we saw strange figures moving toward the college grounds. They looked like people — but something was wrong. Their movements were unnatural. Their faces… twisted. Deformed. Like zombies from a manga or horror movie.

Everyone froze.

The gate crashed down. The monsters poured into the campus.

Panic took over.

Some students screamed and ran. Others stood frozen in fear. The creatures scattered into different buildings. We watched as they began to chase down students and teachers, biting and attacking without mercy. The screams outside grew louder. There was no one to help. No police. No alarms. Just chaos.

My classmates and I quickly shut the classroom door and locked it. Some cried. Others tried to call their parents. I sat silently in the back.

I had never been close to anyone in this class. My grades were low. Most students ignored me or made fun of me because I didn't talk much. I was used to being alone.

But now, no one cared about grades or popularity.

Now, we were all just trying to survive.
