Leonard led Edmund through the alleys of London to a modest office building.
"This is the place," Leonard said nervously.
"And the partner's name again?" Edmund asked his eyes shining with excitement as if getting ready for a great show.
"James Cooper."
Edmund raised his voice dramatically. "JAMES COOPER! YOU ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR CONTRACTUAL DECEIT!"
Leonard jumped. "What the heck, Edmund?!"
"Watch and learn."
From inside, muffled scrambling and panicked mumbling followed. Edmund gave it a few seconds.
"Now we move."
They approached the door. It stood ajar—barely five centimeters.
Leonard frowned. "He escaped?"
Edmund knelt, examining the door.
"No. He's still inside."
