Kaelith's eyes snapped open, his brows furrowed as he pushed himself off the bed. He scanned the room before he sighed deeply, pinched the bridge of his nose before he muttered curses under his breath.
'This domain is more complicated than I thought.' He had failed to access his domain again. His eyes flicked to the railings of his balcony.
He walked to the exact place he had stood last night his eyes stared beyond the horizon. 'Things are about to get more interesting…'

Kaelith walked down the hallway towards the dining room, his hands behind his back. River walked a few steps behind him.
"Do you know why the royals are eating together today?" Kaelith's voice dripped with irritation.
"No, my prince." River's voice was meek and low.
"Let's see what drama they have planned for today," he muttered under his breath.
When they reached the entrance of the door, River hurried forward and pushed the door open.
