Just as Fubuki had seen, after the Vaccine Man transformed into his giant insect form, his power and defense increased dramatically.

Ryuu Kumo didn't dodge by moving away; instead, he swayed his body in place, narrowly evading every spike!

Fubuki was stunned.
Vaccine Man was shocked.
It was as if Ryuu Kumo had predicted every spike's trajectory and casually avoided them all!
But how was that possible?
The spikes followed almost no pattern — how could Ryuu Kumo predict them?
Vaccine Man, unwilling to believe it, unleashed several more spikes.
The result was the same.
Ryuu Kumo walked leisurely, dodging every spike!
At this point, both Vaccine Man and Fubuki were convinced.
Ryuu Kumo truly predicted all the spikes' movements to evade them!
But how?
They were utterly baffled.
Meanwhile, Ryuu Kumo smiled secretly.
What seemed incredible was simply the use of Observation Haki.
With Observation Haki, no movement on the ground could escape his senses, making it impossible for the attacks to hit him.
"Now that I've tested Observation Haki, it's time to try Armament Haki…"
Ryuu Kumo's eyes flickered as he began to activate another power within.

In an instant, a strange aura surged around Ryuu Kumo.
This aura gathered in his hands and merged into the Black Sword Yoru.
The blade, already pitch black, deepened in color, resembling an abyss that emitted no light.

But this time, to his surprise, even with maximum blue light output, the massive blue slash cleaved through it just as easily as the ground!
