My life
Azaria's POV
One week later
"Azaria! Come on, we will be late for school!" it's Ariana's voice. Hmm she has a cute voice for a 10 year old. It's not as shrieking and annoying as before. I guess puberty…no no she's still little for all that.
I sprang up from bed like I was sitting on hot coal. I have been doing that for the past year. It makes it easier for me to stay awake.
Yawning, I stared out through the window. What time did I sleep anyway? I went to bed thinking of what I would tell dad to avoid school in the morning . It's School day after all. The day I dread with all my heart.
"Ughhh! I hate my life"
Stretching my hand to my body, the night stand grabbed my phone.
"Oh my Gosh!" The time was 6:30 am. Any moment now we would miss the bus and I'll have to wait for dad to take us to School in his rickety small car, which I hate with all my heart.
Oh no! I can't give that school more reason to laugh at me. The party at Ashley's was enough.
I jumped into the shower and took my bath in a jiffy. Jumping into a carton color cargo pants and a white top, I combed my hair in double time, applied some lip gloss and ran downstairs.
"Morning dad" I bent and kissed him on the cheeks.
"Morning sweetie" he smiled at me. "Come on eat quickly, the bus would soon be here any minute"
"Ariana, Lukas, morning" I nodded to my siblings and took a seat beside dad.
Lukas was the 15 year old teenager with the best looks in the house. He was kind and awesome. Good grades, best dress sense. The entire package. I couldn't even hate him because he was good. I wish he was my older brother. Maybe I could trauma dump on him but no, I'm the elder one. I'm the one who gets trauma dumped on.
"Morning Aza, sleep well?" He raised an eyebrow.
I nodded, smiling. He smiled too.
Ariana had her mouth filled with toast. She hadn't even looked at me.
"Ariana?" dad said in an accusatory voice. Dad had warned her about not being respectful to me as the elder one. I saw no need in the whole respect thingy but Dad says it's important. He comes from a family where respect was a big deal. Well I didn't say she should bow before me but an acknowledgement like a smile or wave was okay.
Ariana was annoying but can be sweet sometimes. She lives in her head, just like me but she's more extroverted and confident. Unlike me.
Ariana raised her head up. "Sup sis" and everyone laughed.
"What's with the language?" I asked.
"Nothing," she said.
The next thing I was going to say was swallowed up by the honking of the school bus. We all leapt out of our chairs.
"Bye dad!" We chorused as we ran out of the house.
"Azaria!"
I turned to look at dad.
"Don't forget about the meeting today okay?"
My heart began to beat like crazy. "It's today?"
"Yes, it's long overdue," dad said. And that sent my body on an adrenaline spike.

I don't know how but the school bus made it to school just before the bell went on. I mean that was good too.
All night I didn't sleep because I was imagining myself coming to school early and seeing no one, only appearing when it's time for class. But this was good. Getting into school and having the bell ring immediately. Then I enter into class
I see one. I hear no one. No one bullies me. Everyone goes home happy. I guess I choose this routine because Ashley is yet to start school. She always starts a week after and up until this day, I do not know why.
My first class was English.
I get into class, sit very close to the teacher and listen only to her. Even though I can still see people whispering and pointing at me. I roll my eyes when I just can't help but notice it. Thanks to Logan.
That Idiot didn't even try to contact me or apologize. I guess it was a waste of 5 years. It's true what they say. The way they leave you trolls you about everything. The moment the bell rang, I dashed out of the door, straight to the rooftop. That's why I'll have lunch this week.
As I took a bite of my sandwich, I recalled what dad was talking about. The meeting. With the Coleman's
I sighed.
Since last year, people my age had all seen their mate except for me. This year I'm 19. Yes I'm too old for my class but thankfully this is my last year in high school .I'm past the age for finding a mate. No one has marked me nor did I bear the mark of any wolf. My best bet was Logan but then he didn't do it. That's where the bulk of my bullying came from. I was always unlucky in everything.
So dad had asked me months back that he and I would meet his friend, Mr. Coleman.
He had sons on the human side that had no mate. So it's like an arranged marriage in the werewolf Kingdom. It wasn't popular but it was done to wolves with no mate.
The bell rang and I began to go downstairs when I heard some weird sounds.
"Nicholas baby" a feminine voice moaned from a distance. I turned my head around to find them. They were leaning on the wall kissing tenderly and passionately.
I turned around to move when my leg hit a mop and it fell, making sounds.
Nicholas and a girl I recognize to be the leader of the cheerleaders turned to me.
"Oh" her face was a mixture of resentment and disgust as she glared at me. She didn't look at me for long before she turned back to Nicholas. Nicholas stares at me with deadpanned eyes. She immediately pulled him down and their lips molded together.
A pang of jealousy swam through me as I recalled what had happened that night while I was getting milk in Ashley's house.

I grabbed the cup before it toppled over. Holding the cup like it was my life, I immediately began to flee the kitchen when I bump into him again. I don't know how but he caught the glass of milk before it spilled.
"Sorry" I muttered. I tried to leave but Nicholas was blocking the way. Then I heard a deep voice.
"Look up!" I raised an eyebrow. Did Nicholas open his mouth? But when.
Nicholas's gaze roamed my body and for a moment I thought I was naked.
"One day you won't run from me mate!" that voice from within came again. My eyes widened. What did he say?

As soon as I made my way downstairs, just as I turned to enter the hallway to class, a hand grabbed me. Covering my mouth.
"Let me go!" I said in my muffled screams as I kicked and pushed. But it was useless. My attacker was bigger and stronger than me. Some cloth was stuffed into my mouth and then everything became hazy. It didn't take long, and I dozed off.
