[Morning – Reeva's Office]
Saanvi walked into The Khanna Court, heels clicking confidently against the marbled floor. She looked around like it already belonged to her, grinning as she approached Reeva's cabin.
She opened the door without knocking.
Saanvi (grinning): "So... how does it feel being the next big headline in a queer power couple fantasy?"
Reeva (rolling her eyes): "Good morning to you too, gossip queen."
Saanvi: "You do realize you're trending with 'Trisha Singhania hot eye contact'? Twitter is thirsting over you two."
Reeva: "Okay, enough. Sit down. I called you here for real work, not memes."
Saanvi settled onto the chair across from Reeva, still grinning.
Reeva (serious now): "So listen. I'll be stationed in Udaipur for a while — Toast of Royals needs full focus. That means... you need to start managing The Khanna Court."
Saanvi (straightening up): "Wait—are you serious?"
Reeva: "Dead serious. I've handled this legacy long enough. Now, it's your turn to carry it forward while I build the next big thing."
Just then, there was a knock. Reeva's assistant opened the door.
Assistant: "Ma'am, Miss Sasha Baloch is here."
Reeva: "Perfect. Send her in."
Sasha Baloch, sharp in a tailored pantsuit, walked in with a leather folder in hand.
Sasha: "Good morning, Reeva. Miss Saanvi."
Reeva: "Morning, Sasha. Let's get to it."
Sasha handed the folder to Saanvi, who opened it curiously.
Saanvi (reading): "Wait... power of attorney?"
Reeva: "Yeah. You'll be the acting decision-maker when I'm away. This officially hands you the authority to take all executive calls in my absence."
Sasha (clarifying): "It's legally binding. Everything's outlined — finance, operations, stakeholder decisions. Reeva has full trust in you."
Saanvi (stunned): "You're giving me all powers, Miss CEO?"
Reeva (smiling): "Of course, Saanu. You've seen me build this place — now it's your time. Make Dad proud. We're in this together now."
Saanvi blinked hard, trying not to get emotional.
Saanvi: "Let's do this."
Reeva signed the final page. Sasha nodded and began packing up.
Scene: Trisha Enters
At the reception:
Trisha (calm, poised): "Is Reeva Khanna available?"
Akshita (nervous): "Yes, ma'am, but she's currently in a meeting with her lawyer. I'll check with her first."
She called through the intercom.
Akshita: "Ma'am, Trisha Singhania is here to meet you."
Reeva (blinking): "Trisha? Now?"
Akshita: "Yes ma'am. Should I send her in?"
Reeva (composed): "Yes. Let her in."
Akshita (to Trisha): "Ma'am, you may go in. She's expecting you now."
Trisha (smirking): "Perfect."
She made her way to the office and entered smoothly. Inside, Sasha was seated on one guest chair, Saanvi beside Reeva, and Reeva herself on her CEO throne — composed and regal. Trisha took the other guest seat with calm elegance.
Reeva: "Singhania, this is a surprise."
Trisha: "I had something important to discuss. But... wait—" (turns to Sasha) "Sasha Baloch, right?"
Sasha (smiling): "Yes, ma'am. You have a sharp memory."
Trisha: "You used to work under my legal counsel Bhatia, right? A couple of years back?"
Sasha: "Exactly. I was his intern. Now I'm handling independent portfolios — and the Khanna family's legal affairs."
Trisha (nodding): "Small world. Good to see you again."
Sasha: "Likewise. I'll take your leave now." (extends her hand)
Trisha (shaking it): "See you around."
Sasha exits.
Scene: Back to Business
Reeva: "So? What's this important matter?"
Trisha (serious now): "Two things. First, we need to start building a dedicated Board of Directors for Toast of Royals. A separate BOD. Equal representation. This can't be tangled in our existing companies."
Reeva (impressed): "Agreed. I was going to bring that up too."
Trisha: "Second — we need to head to Udaipur. Site inspection, finalize the layout, and start approvals."
Reeva (smiling): "Already one step ahead of you, Singhania. I've got blueprints and design sketches. I'll bring them along."
Trisha (grinning): "Looks like I chose the right partner."
Reeva: "You better believe it."
They share a charged look — subtle, but unmistakably electric.
