Synopsis
Allen rage-quit reality after watching his favorite Pokémon, Greninja, get humiliated on TV. Next thing he knew, he was sucked into another dimension, handed a bizarre training system, and told to start punching boulders for breakfast. After mastering wild techniques like Aura Manipulation and "don't-ask-how-he-did-that" teleportation, he finally unlocked a move he was proud of—Kamehameha! Then the universe hit him with a plot twist. This was the Pokémon world. Zacian and Zamazenta: “We got strong because our Trainer treats beats the shit out of us every single day” Groudon and Kyogre: “We thought the only threat was Rayquaza—until this guy threw us into orbit.” Even Arceus is side-eying Allen, who’s glowing like a Super Saiyan and yelling about friendship and power levels. Welcome to a world where logic faints faster than a Magikarp. *** Support Me By Reading 20+ Advance Chapters On Patreon.com/Jaxxyn Join the discord for more stories, chatting and more: https://discord.gg/h3y8AnMMPh

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I Thought This Was Dragon Ball, Then a Gym Leader Asked to Be My Disciple

Somewhere in the Galar region, on the mysterious Isle of Armor.

Allen didn't know that, of course. To him, this was just "that place with too many cliffs and not enough shops." Shirtless, barefoot, and completely soaked by the unexpected downpour, Allen looked like something out of a high-budget martial arts anime. His muscles were chiseled like a living statue, the result of absurd training routines and a bizarre system interface floating before his eyes.

\[Pokémon Combat Enhancement System]

\[Trainer: Allen]

\[Bloodline: ??? – Analysis Incomplete]

\[Mastered Skills: Aura Surge (multi-type), Hyper Focus Gates (Level 4), TM Move – Focus Blast, Unregistered Technique – Kamehameha]

Yeah. That last one wasn't a move in the Pokédex.

Allen had no idea he wasn't in a Dragon Ball-style universe. He just assumed the local wildlife was weird and everyone forgot how to fly.

Crack! Boom!

The storm overhead raged like it had a grudge against the ground. Allen glanced up at the thunder-scarred sky and narrowed his eyes.

"Well, if you're gonna give me a dramatic setting, I might as well test this out."

He dropped into a wide horse stance, left foot forward, right foot braced. Palms cupped at his side, energy began to shimmer between his hands. A brilliant white-blue glow crackled into life, casting stark shadows behind him.

"Kamehameha!"

With a shout, he thrust his palms upward. A titanic beam of raw energy blasted into the sky, ripping through clouds like they were tissue paper. Thunder vanished. The rain stopped mid-pour. For five heartbeats, the sky was nothing but searing blue light.

Then came sunlight. Pure, gentle sunlight, as if Allen had drop-kicked the storm out of the hemisphere.

He exhaled and stretched. "Still not enough power. Back to training."

Grabbing a 300kg weighted training vest from his bag—procured through his mysterious system, obviously—he leapt into the ocean.

Time to swim around the island. Five hundred laps. Because if you couldn't casually annihilate a city with a sneeze, were you even trying?

What Allen didn't realize was that somewhere else in Galar, people *definitely* noticed.

In Wyndon City, inside the towering Galar League HQ, Secretary Oleana stood before President Rose with her usual half-bored, half-irritated expression. She tapped on her tablet.

"Sir, satellite data confirms a massive energy spike from the Isle of Armor. The estimated power level is comparable to a Tier 2 Legendary Pokémon."

Rose raised a brow, stroking his chin like he'd just been offered a new sponsorship deal.

"Interesting. A new Legendary appearing there would be... inconvenient, but potentially useful. We'll send someone to investigate. Suggestions?"

"If it's really at that level, only Champion Leon can handle it."

"Mm. He's got time before the All-Star Exhibition. Let him earn his salary."

Meanwhile, back on the beach, Allen dragged himself from the surf, panting. Only 100 laps today. Pathetic. Absolutely disgraceful.

He'd have to push harder tomorrow.

"Woo!" came a cry behind him.

He turned to see a small, round Pokémon with gray fur and an innocent stare. It stood about half a meter tall, looking part bear cub, part plush toy.

Allen blinked.

"What can I do for you, little guy?"

The Pokémon squeaked, startled, and bolted into the bushes.

Allen chuckled and went back to his training. In his mind, it was just another bizarre creature. He'd grown up watching Dragon Ball—there were talking pigs and dinosaurs in that, too. Nothing phased him anymore.

What he didn't realize was that he'd just encountered a genuine Kubfu. A rare, mythical Fighting-type Pokémon that had never approached humans so directly before.

And Kubfu had stars in his eyes.

Two days passed.

Allen stood atop the highest peak on the island. He roared, aura flaring around him like wildfire. "Hyper Focus Gates – Level Four!"

His body surged with power. The pressure alone caused flocks of Wingull to scatter for miles.

Boom!

He punched straight through the mountain's peak, which crumbled like a biscuit under his power. Blood pounded through his veins. His eyes glowed red with exertion.

He floated down slowly, exhaling steam.

"That's it? Only a 2x boost? I'm capped already?"

"Da-da-da!"

Footsteps. Rapid ones. He turned, expecting maybe another wild Pokémon.

Instead, he saw a girl.

She wore a black cropped vest that showed off toned abs and sun-kissed skin. Her dark hair was tied back, and despite her athletic build, her face carried a kind of stubborn cuteness.

She ran straight up to him, dropped to her knees, and bowed low.

"Please! Master! Take me as your disciple!"

Allen raised an eyebrow.

Behind him, the bush rustled violently. Kubfu leapt out, ran over, and dropped beside the girl, mimicking her bow.

"Woo! Woo!" he growled, side-eying the girl like she'd just insulted his mother.

*Back off, she's trying to steal my spot!*

Allen blinked at the scene. "Wait... what is happening right now?"

The girl raised her head. "My name is Bea. I'm the Fighting-type Gym Leader from Stow-on-Side. I came here for training after losing in last year's Galar All-Star Tournament."

Allen tilted his head. "You're... not from the Crane School or Turtle School?"

Bea blinked. "...No? I do karate. And, uh, sparring. With Pokémon."

He frowned. "Karate? That low-level civilian martial art? You'll never destroy a mountain with that."

Bea puffed her cheeks indignantly. She'd spent years mastering her technique. But she also *saw* him casually obliterate a mountain a few minutes ago, so she shoved her pride aside.

"Master. Please accept me as your student."

Allen stared down at her.

In his mind, he was still trying to figure out which Dragon Ball arc this character had come from. She didn't ring any bells. Maybe she was a filler character? Or part of one of those weird non-canonical movies?

Kubfu growled softly beside her, clearly feeling competitive.

Bea glanced sideways. "Wait. Is... is this Pokémon also trying to be your student?"

Allen shrugged. "I guess? He showed up a few days ago and hasn't stopped watching me train."

Kubfu nodded furiously.

And so, without realizing it, Allen, who thought he'd wandered into a martial arts anime, accidentally became the master of a Gym Leader and a Legendary Pokémon.

He looked up at the sky.

"If this isn't Dragon Ball... what *is* this world?"
