Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Rise of the Starborn Council

Location: The Skyspire Citadel – Orbiting New Earth

When the war ended, when Death had a new heir, and the Hallows were silenced, one truth remained:

The Multiverse still needed Guardians.

No longer could a single hero carry the weight.

Not even one like Harry Potter.

It was time for a new order—formed not from fear, but unity.

Thus rose the Starborn Council.

A gathering of champions, legends, and heirs, forged from every corner of the cosmos.

They would not rule.

They would not dominate.

They would protect the flame of balance.

The Council Chamber

The Citadel was carved from starlight and magicstone, built at the edge of Saturn's rings and anchored by spelltech crafted by Wakandan-Krakoan artisans.

Within, the round chamber shimmered with floating constellations and runes written in every tongue—from Elvish to Kryptonian.

At the center stood a single empty chair—the Legacy Seat, reserved for any soul worthy of joining.

Around it, the first thirteen members took their place:

Harry Potter – Guardian-King, Bearer of Excalibur Phoenix.

Eira of Asgard – Ice-Dancer, Shieldmaiden of Thor.

Tani of Wakanda-Krakoa – Runeweaver, wielder of the Panther Sigil and Omega-Level Mutant.

Kairo of Earth-928 – Cyber-Wizard, heir to Strange and Stark.

Peter Parker (Old Earth) – The Spider-Warden, aged and wise.

Hope Summers – Mutant Phoenix Host, reborn from flame.

Morgan Stark – Armorer of Tomorrow.

Illyana Rasputin – Sorceress Supreme of Limbo and Light.

Stephen Strange (Variant 611) – Astral Mentor.

Daphne Greengrass – Minister of Magic, New Avalon.

Tommy Maximoff – Speedmage and Prophecy-Breaker.

Beta Ray Bill – Thunder of the Forgotten.

Loki (Reformed) – Guardian of What Shouldn't Be.

The thirteenth seat was a gamble.

But if Harry had learned anything, it was this: redemption was not a gift.

It was a choice—made again and again.

The Oath of Stars

Each council member placed their hand on the Orb of Infinite Threads, and spoke in unison:

"By light and shadow, by truth and trial,

We are the Watchers of the Gates.

The Keepers of Echoes.

The Shield against despair.

We swear by the Flame Eternal:

To protect, to preserve, and never to rule."

The Citadel shimmered.

Across the multiverse, the echoes of the oath awakened beacons—hidden relics left behind by Merlin, Arthur, and the Founders.

Each one called out to potential guardians—future protectors of their own realms.

A Visit from the Throne of Death

Just before the council adjourned, the chamber dimmed.

The Veil parted.

And Liana stepped forward—no longer as daughter, but as Lady Death of the Threshold.

Her presence stilled even Loki.

But her voice was kind.

"The balance you restored must now be kept.

And so I offer this:

When one of you falls, their soul shall rest.

No tricks. No torment. Just peace.

And for that gift, I ask only vigilance."

Harry stepped forward and embraced her—not as father and daughter, but as two eternal guardians, walking different paths… but never apart.

"Thank you," he whispered.

She smiled.

Then vanished into silver flame.

The Future Begins

Outside the Citadel, a new generation of students boarded spellships to attend Starborn Academy.

They were dreamers, outcasts, orphans, gods-in-training, mutants, magicians, and even a few redeemed villains.

And watching them from the high balcony, Harry whispered:

"Let the next guardians rise."

Because the future wasn't his to hold anymore.

It was theirs.
