Chapter 13
Acquaintance Party Night:
"Are you ready, baby?" my mom asked. I nodded, "excited!!"
My dad laughed at my reaction. Who wouldn't be excited? I'm with my love! Beat that! :>
"Be back before 11?" my mom asked.
"That's too early," I said to my dad.
My dad hugged my mom, "don't be so strict. Before midnight, baby?"
"You're the best, daddy!" I said, then kissed him on the cheeks.
I waited on the front porch while my love hadn't arrived yet _u_
Haaay. I wonder what he looks like now? Is he still cute? Hihihi. I'm blushing!!
It's already 6:30, and the party doesn't start until 7. But where's Sheen? Maybe something bad happened to him??
Ugh, I'm getting anxious!! I'll just call him.

Aya's Point of View :
Ugh, what's with the outfit. My mom forced me to wear? I look like a rice cake! The clothes are so tight I can barely breathe, and these 4-inch pumps?
What does my mom think? That I'll just sit and not walk? So annoying!!
I'm currently trying to walk in front of our house when I suddenly see CB.
(-_-) He scratched his neck, "do I look ugly?"
"When have you ever looked handsome?" I said, then held out my hand, "can I have your phone?"
"You told Alys already, didn't you?" He just nodded.
Whatever happens to Partner Steve later, it's on him :>
He looked surprised that I asked for his phone, but he gave it to me anyway. I turned it off. Good thing too, or I might have wanted to make him cry before we went to the AP if he hadn't given it to me!!
We walked towards the gate, and oh, a Limousine??
He looked down, "I'm really sorry, Aya. My mom insisted... I didn't want to ride in a Limousine, but she wanted to. Sorry."
I recovered after a few minutes, *sighs*
"What else can I do? It's already here."
I was about to get into the Limousine when CB suddenly opened the door for me and said, "after you?"
Why is he smiling???
"Tch," I said, then got in.
But when I sat down, he suddenly said, "y-you look beautiful today, Aya."
I suddenly slammed the door shut, "ow!"
Shoot! CB's hand got caught!!
He's hopping around in pain outside. Serves him right. He's always giving me goosebumps.
Alys' Point of View :
It's already 7:15, and Sheen's still not here. What could have happened to him?
I'll just wait again. I know Sheen.
He'll come. Maybe there's just an emergency. That's it, just an emergency! Sheen wouldn't stand me up... He's my best friend.
My dad came out, "baby, hasn't Sheen arrived yet?"
I smiled, "just traffic, dad. He's on his way."
I lied.
"Alright, your mom and I will be in the dining area, okay?"
I waited again.
It's already 8:00, and Sheen's still not here. Maybe he won't come after all...
I stood up to go inside when...
No one's Point of View:
Location: Palma Residence
"Kat, are you ready?" Tito Steve asked Katrina.
Their flight to Japan is tonight, and it's still early, 11 p.m., so they'll leave for the airport soon.
After checking that his fiancée was okay, he went to his son's room.
It's already 6:30. Drake should be heading to Alys' place! If only they knew Alys was getting emotional waiting for him. Hahaha!
Just as he was about to enter the room, Aya called him.
Phone convo:
Aya: Hey, partner.
Tito Steve: Oh, what did you call for?
Aya: Is Drake ready? Hehe.
Tito Steve: *scratches head* Not yet. Tell Alys that Drake might be late. That kid is moving so slowly.
Aya: No, it's okay. Hahaha! Let Drake be late for a dramatic entrance :>
Tito Steve: *sighs* Alright, alright. You know it all.
Aya hung up the phone.
Tito Steve was often bewildered by Aya's antics. She always seemed to know what to do, and while he enjoyed her company, he was sometimes perplexed by her behavior. Hahaha!
He knocked on Drake's door. And the guy? He was playing Wii. Wow! While Alys was getting emotional, Drake was just chillin'. Hahaha!
"Drake?" Tito Steve called out to his son.
Drake just turned around, "why aren't you getting dressed?"
Drake remained silent. He was still upset that he couldn't go to Japan with his dad. Tch. He felt like his dad was always one step ahead of him.
"Aren't you going to the party?" Tito Steve asked.
Drake nodded. He didn't really want to go, but he didn't have anyone to talk to there except for the girl with a speech defect and the weird girl.
Tito Steve sighed, "just go to the party and then pick up in. Just Japan? 5 a.m. flight, is that okay?"
Drake smiled at what he heard. He stood up, got a suit from his walk-in closet, and dressed up.
Before leaving the room, Tito Steve checked his watch, "it's only 7:15, Drake, just head out around 8, okay? Pick up Alys. If you don't follow my instructions, don't even think about getting the ticket."
Drake sighed. What else could he do?
Alys' Point of View:
Am I dreaming?? Is that really Drake Palma in front of me??
When he walked towards me, "awww!!" I sat down again. TT^TT Why is this happening to me??
My knees literally went weak, and I can hardly speak when he's around...
He approached me and helped me up. I still had a scrape on my knee. So annoying!!
He wiped the scrape and brushed off some sand, then helped me stand up.
"Let's go," he said softly, then walked out of the gate.
Did I just hallucinate?? Was that really Drake??
I slowly followed him out. (-_-) I thought he was a gentleman, at least for tonight. But he didn't even open the door for me.
We were silent on our way to school. What could we even talk about?? Duh??
We walked into school, and people's reactions when they saw us together:
Shoot!!! Oh yeah, I told them Drake is my partner for tonight!!! Huh! I'm so awesome!! :>
I saw Kei, "well, isn't my partner handsome?"
