Sigh. I'm already rejected. ///< I have a crush on Drake Palma?? Oh noes!! This can't be happening!!
Hmmm. I'm really overreacting sometimes! It's just a crush, right?? Sheen is still number one in my heart!! Hihihi
I'll just hang out here at the park since there's no school today because it's a holiday. *sighs* I'll just watch the kids playing there since I don't have many childhood memories. (-_-)
What childhood memories can you even have from homeschooling?? Hello?? I was stuck at home when I was a kid. Huhuhu. /wrist. Thankfully, they agreed to let me attend regular school in grade 6. Hihihi.
"You're quiet?" Sheen suddenly asked when he sat on the swing next to me. _O_ Sheen is so cute when he smiles _O_
"Alys?" *shake, shake* "Alys?"
I snapped out of my daydream, "ah, eh, Helloes," I said just to follow up. I'm really embarrassing sometimes!! It's obvious I'm head over heels for him. (-_-)
I don't know if Sheen is really dense and can't notice how much I adore him or if I'm really just in the friendzone!! -/////-
He looked at me and smiled, "ah, hello too." Oh no!! He's going to think I'm weird again >/////<
"Ah, what are you doing here?" I changed the topic. But it's kind of true, since he's not from our subdivision. Weird.
"Nothing, just stressed out at home," he said, pushing me on the swing. Ahh, my heart is fluttering!!! We're like boyfriend and girlfriend! Hihihi."
"Why?" He scratched his neck a bit, "my mom keeps asking about the color of Kei's dress at the AP so she can buy me a tie.. But Kei and I aren't even partners. Sigh," then he pushed me on the swing again.
It seems like Sheen and I have the same problem, since Drake didn't agree. I'm rejected. Huhuhu.
"You, Alys, do you already have a partner?"
I shook my head. I almost wanted to shout "change topic, please??" I'm still sensitive about the issue!! This is my first time getting rejected!! And with my looks??
"How about we be partners? We're best friends, right?" he asked me.
I hit him in surprise, "Really??" Papa God, thank you for this blessing!!
"Even though my crush rejected me, my love invited me out!! It's a fair trade!!
"Uh, why? Don't you want me as your partner?" he said, and his expression looked a bit sad.
That Kei really gets to people, huh? My love's self-esteem is affected because of her rejection and dumping him. So annoying!
"No way!! We'll be partners, right?" I said to him, and his face brightened up a bit when he heard that.
He smiled, "sure. It's a date?"
I smiled too, "it's a date."
No one's point of view:
Currently, Tito Steve, Katrina, and Drake are in the dining room having breakfast. The topic of their conversation? Katrina's birthday!
Tito Steve is ecstatic about planning a celebration with his "family" for his fiancée's birthday, as this will be their first time celebrating as a "family" again since Drake's mother passed away a long time ago. He's coming up with all sorts of ideas.
Katrina is happy! This will be her first time celebrating her birthday in a while, as she's been busy with work since she's been on her own. The idea of celebrating excites her big time!
And Drake? Just kidding about the dramatic sound effect. He's being quiet as usual, feeling a bit weird about his dad's suggestions. If given the choice, he'd rather just spend time with Katrina on their birthdays.
"How about we go to Japan? August 17th is on a Friday, right?" Tito Steve asked Katrina and Drake.
Katrina smiled, as this would be her first time going abroad, "really? To Japan?"
Tito Steve nodded, captivated by his fiancée's beauty, "yes. Don't you want to?"
"Japan? How about Singapore instead? As long as it's in Asia, since we only have weekends off." Katrina gave Steve a charming smile. Of course! She knows that's his weakness, so she always uses it. As they say, if you have it, flaunt it!
So, they decided to celebrate Katrina's 22nd birthday in Japan. Drake was quiet again. What could he do, anyway? He didn't even have a job.
As they were eating, Tito Steve suddenly received a call, "need to take this. It's urgent."
Tito Steve left the table. As usual, business comes first, especially since his wedding to Kat is approaching. It's going to be expensive! Hahaha! Tito Steve is actually a frugal person, but he's generous with Katrina because he regrets not giving his previous wife everything she wanted when she was alive, even though they had the money. So, he's making up for it now.
*Drake's piercing stare*
Kat smiled at Drake, knowing that he's jealous of her relationship with his dad again.
Drake just scoffed. They couldn't really talk because there were maids around the house. They had to be careful, especially since the wedding was only two months away! Kat was being extra cautious because she didn't want anything to go wrong, while Drake wished they would get caught so his dad would know the truth. It was exhausting always staying up late. He was always sleeping in class, but luckily, he already knew everything being taught. (-_-)
Tito Steve returned, "Drake?" Drake looked at his dad, but didn't say anything, of course!
"Uh, isn't there an Acquaintance Party on Kat's birthday?" Drake just nodded. What did it matter if there was a party? Like he cared about meeting new people there. Please! Drake? No way!
"You won't be able to join us, Tita Kat and I... Tsk. What a pity," Tito Steve said, sounding disappointed. He thought they could bond as a family! Tss. Just his thought. Hahaha!
Drake wondered why he couldn't join them, "why?"
"It's your party, and I couldn't possibly let your girlfriend go without an escort. Alys is still young and beautiful, so keep an eye on her and make sure no one gets too close," Tito Steve said.
Do you know why Tito Steve is acting like that? Hmmm. Let's go back to what happened during the "business" phone call he received.
*at the study area*
"Why did Aya call?" Tito Steve wondered to himself. How does he have Aya's number? Partners in crime, indeed!
Phone conversation:
Tito Steve: Ay---
Aya: Tito Steve!!!!!
And Aya told him what she wanted to happen. And the result? A frustrating Drake Palma! His dad is going to manipulate him again. Tsk. Two days with Katrina in Japan? We're dead!
Alys' Point of View:

"Let's go to the mall?? Pretty please??"
Hihihi! I want to buy a dress. I've already chosen a dress so I can tell Sheen about it. His mom is also excited to buy his coat and tie. :>
("huh? You seem happy. It seems like just yesterday you were almost dying from Drake's rejection?")
"Whatever you say, Aya. I'm partnered with Sheen, my love. Beat that!"
I don't care about Aya's teasing, my love is partnered with me! _0_
"Ha? You mean CB?" (CB means Sheen)
"Yup yup. Hihihi. Good things come to those who wait. After almost 3 years of having a crush on my love, finally, it's happening!!" _toooot tooooot_
"Hello? Aya? Aya??"
Why did she hang up? That woman is so annoying! I needed someone to share my excitement with!!
Aya's Point of View:
Psh. That CB is really ruining things! After she gave me goosebumps during the last tutorial session (aka putting her coat on me because she was trying to get an A in the library), now she's going to ruin my matchmaking plans for Drake and Alys? So annoying!
I took out my phone.
To: CB
Hoy, crybaby!
After a few seconds...
From: CB *blank message*
BLANK MESSAGE??? Okay, I'm just overreacting.
To: CB Who's your partner for AP?
From: CB "it's Alys."
WHY IS CB RESPONDING SO BRIEFLY???? And why am I affected? Okay, just an overreaction moment.
To: CB "Her partner is Drake. Don't bother."
After several minutes, he still hasn't responded...
Still not responding. He's so thick-skinned, making me wait for a reply!!!
To: CB "DON'T BOTHER!! DRAKE IS HER PARTNER!!!"
From: CB "You're my partner?"
*smiling*
No one's point of view:
'Haaaaay. There's so much to do here at school. It's hard being the student council president.' Sheen thought to himself. He's at school again this afternoon, even though it's a holiday, for an unexpected meeting. Thankfully, Alys agreed to be his partner, so that's one less thing to worry about. His mom is also breathing down his neck about buying a tie.
"Are you playing Temple Run on your phone?" Kent, his vice president and fellow student council member, asked.
Sheen just nodded, there were many papers that needed to be passed. 'Haaaay. That's why Kei left me, being part of the Student Council is too time-consuming,' Sheen thought to himself.
Now, Sheen was busy typing papers, while Kent was playing Temple Run since he had already submitted his paper. Kent was a good vice president, wasn't he? Hahaha!
While playing, Sheen's phone suddenly vibrated. Kent was about to give Sheen his phone, but he was surprised by the name of the sender. Aya Pineda? The Aya who was beautiful but a bit weird?
Kent had a mischievous idea and decided to play a prank on Aya by responding to her message with flirtatious replies. He loved to tease Aya and use all caps. If caps lock could kill, Aya would have been dead a long time ago.
To: Aya Pineda "You're my partner?"
From: Aya Pineda "THICK-SKINNED PLEASE!!!!!!!"
Kent was laughing to himself at what he was doing. Thankfully, Sheen was focused on typing and didn't notice that Kent was messing with his phone.
To: Aya Pineda whatever. "Alys is my partner."
Aya didn't respond, so Kent went back to playing Temple Run.
*1 hour later*
"Let's go home," Sheen said. They were finally done! The two of them headed home. When Sheen arrived at his room to change clothes, he almost dropped his phone when he saw what was on the screen.
