Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15

The Meeting of Broken Titans

Location: The Event Horizon – Border between Multiverse and Source

Time had no meaning here. Neither did identity. But still, two beings stood on a fractured plane of glowing debris, drifting across a void that whispered forgotten truths.

On one side: Kal-El, the Last Son of Krypton—Superman—now burdened with the weight of cosmic knowledge and divine memory.

On the other: Robert Reynolds, fractured vessel of chaos and light—Sentry, who had just slain a Law of Origin.

They regarded each other in silence, as if hearing the hum of reality itself stalling.

Then Superman spoke.

> "You broke a Law."

Sentry smirked, golden strands of energy rippling through his fingers.

> "It wasn't holding together anyway."

> "You killed Origin. Do you understand what that means?"

> "Do you?" Sentry's smile faded. "They call you the perfect symbol. The last hope. But you're still playing by rules someone else wrote."

Superman stepped forward. "And you're rewriting them with blood."

> "Because they're lies."

A pause.

Then, unexpectedly, Superman looked skyward. His fists clenched, his voice low.

> "I don't disagree."

Flashback: Kal-El's Revelation

In the moments after Val-Zod and Superman Prime arrived, Kal-El had been shown a truth hidden in cosmic libraries: the Source Wall had been breached—but not from the outside.

A worm had burrowed its way from inside the Multiverse—something spawned not of chaos, but of revision. Something that rewrote worlds like editing a script.

And Sentry… he wasn't the cause.

He was the first proof.

Back to the Event Horizon

Sentry's eyes flared. "They're scared of me because I make sense of the Void."

Superman's cape flapped in dead air. "They're scared of you because you remember the parts they deleted."

The two hovered, only atoms apart now. Their energies clashed in quiet waves.

> "Are you here to stop me?" Sentry asked.

> "No," Superman said. "I'm here to ask…"

> "…What do you see beyond the rewrite?"

Sentry blinked.

Then slowly, his hand lifted—not in offense, but invitation.

> "Come see for yourself."

And for the first time in infinite history, Superman took the hand of the Void.

Together, they stepped into The Rewrite—the dying skeleton of a Multiverse that never existed.

And behind them, the Architects watched.

One of them whispered:

> "They walk toward paradox. The Final One approaches."
