It was really a dark night, indeed. John had fainted and was lying unconscious on the floor. Sasha was really confused by the turn of events. It was a really hard situation for her to handle. She regretted having accepted the proposed date. If wishes were horses, it would be good if it were a mere dream. But the reality was hard to accept. She thought of the best way to deal with the situation at hand. She could often touch the boyfriend's chest to confirm if she was indeed still breathing.
Sasha had an extreme fear that almost made her shiver. She had a series of thoughts running through her little mind. She could not find the exact answer to the problem at hand. At some point, she could walk outside, hoping to find a philanthropist who would intervene and provide a solution. But all her attempts to find a person were fruitless. It was midnight, and all the people were sleeping in the various rooms. She thought of going to notify the security team. Something rang in her mind, and she was careful to follow her conscience. She knew very well that she would be held accountable in case things turned out to be messy. She had to refrain from seeking attention from any other person and hide her identity.
She picked up her boyfriend's wallet and carefully opened it. To her surprise, she saw a huge money well-kept in the wallet. Although she could not recognize the exact value, she was confident that the money was huge. She quickly hid the money in her pocket, then rushed outside to confirm if anyone was around. Sasha heard a conversation between two people whom she was able to identify as a man and a woman. She knew how to act smart. Sasha knew that carrying some of her personal effects at that particular time would make the security team raise eyebrows.
So, she had to walk away without anything except the huge amount of money she had. She thought about how best she would trick the security team, as the clearing process was procedural and took time. She once thought of bribing them, but refrained because of the tight security displayed. What if she could try to bribe them, but the deal backfires? She had to act swiftly and get herself out of the place. Sasha walked in the darkness, trying to avoid any interaction with any light. She finally arrived at the toilets. At that particular place, she was lucky to find a ladder. She quickly set the ladder in place and used it to climb over the fence before jumping over.
As the slaying queen jumped over, her fate remained unknown. She broke her left leg in the process. The amount of pain she felt was very extreme. Despite the pain, she could not even utter a word. She wanted to maintain great secrecy to cover herself up. Sasha was rescued by a cyclist, who drove her to the nearest health facility. At the facility, she requested to be transferred to a very far, healthy facility, claiming the facility was closer to her area and residency, hence easier check-up compliance.
The following day, very early in the morning, John regained consciousness. He came back to reality. He stretched his hand, expecting to touch or feel his lover's presence. That is when he realized that something bad had happened. When he finally regained full consciousness, he realized that he was sleeping on the bare floor, a very cold one. He sat down, still confused and trying to come to terms with reality.
He stood up, walked slowly, and sat on the chair. Where is Sasha? The question that disturbed him was to find her lover. He tried calling her out loud, but no response came. "Where is my lover?" he murmured. Trying to think critically, he came up with a possible answer to where Sasha could be at that particular time.
He knew very well that Sasha could be in the washroom. He had to quickly rush to confirm. But before he could make a step, he realized that his wallet was missing. This was another tragedy for the young man. He tried to figure out what could have transpired at night in their room. The only thing he could remember was him kneeling down for a marriage proposal. Could there have been an attack at night that might have led to her girlfriend's disappearance? He confirmed the washroom but didn't find her lover. He then went to the security office to report the incident.
The first and most important issue was his missing lover. The other issue was the money he had lost mysteriously. The security team could not trace Sasha's check-out of the place. They were determined to trace and find her within the compound. The only hard question was whether she would be found alive or dead. Any attempts to reach her via phone call were fruitless.
The security team conducted a thorough investigation into the matter. They eventually had to open and watch CCTV footage. They were surprised by what they saw. John could not believe what he saw. Sasha is jumping over the fence. No! It can't be. It was now clear that the main suspect behind the lost money could possibly be Sasha. John had nothing at all. He had to request a friend's fare back home. How could such a senior officer beg for a fare?
Sasha had reduced her boyfriend to a mere beggar. It was a lesson learned the hard way for him. He made clearance at the reception and left the place. What had been a funny moment turned into a tragedy. But who was to be blamed? John's friends had earlier cautioned him against the lady who was perceived as being too materialistic.
The man kept on crying, though silently. The tears were rolling down his cheeks like running water. He had been betrayed by a close person, his lover. He was going through a lot of psychological torture.
